We decided to stay at this site as you could walk to the beach and to shops, no reviews on here but I thought we’d go for it !
We stayed 6 nights over May half term and it was very quiet, like most of Brittany at this time of year. Site is made up of mobile homes ( for rent and privately owned) and quirky accommodation. Through our six nights stay we were the only campers there for the whole duration, a few motor homes stayed a couple of nights. And there were a few people in the mobile homes. There are only 3 toilets and 3 showers along with two cubicles with sinks in. Around 6 sinks for washing up. We were the only ones that appeared to be using them but in peak time I’m not sure how sufficient this would be. They were nice and clean and there was a room with shower, toilet, sink for wheelchair access ( this is included in 3 toilets !). No toilet roll which appears to be the norm on French sites.
Pool was very nice, undercover in a glass house and there was an outdoor paddle pool. Bread etc could be ordered each morning. There was a shop and restaurant but neither of these were open ( only July and August). Table tennis table is undercover along with a small games room.
You can walk to the local village in about 10-15 mins, nice boulangerie, a couple of bars and restaurants, post office and butchers. A little further down the road is a large intermarche. If you carry on passed this you can walk to the main beach. There is another cove to walk to from the campsite too.
It’s a beautiful area and a great campsite to base yourself as lots and lots of places within easy driving distances. There are big supermarkets everywhere you go too !
Only thing to note is the barrier to the campsite opens at 7. 30 am. We had to leave before this to catch ferry so we had to park our camper on the other side of the barrier in the car park next to restaurant and reception to sleep in last night ( which wasn’t an issue as no one about !) but bear in mind peak time.
This is a very well kept campsite, owners spoke some English and were very nice. As off peak we pitched where we wanted. There are sea views too !
