Happy to report that little has changed since the 2008 review.
The site remains a classic Municipale popular both with French weekenders and foreign visitors. The toilet block looks to have been recently refreshed.
The village still has a bakery, shop and bar. The bar/restaurant by the bridge is in an attractive spot and is good value for lunch. It has a shop attached selling their own (excellent) cider. I should add that the cycling is as good as the walking.
The only down side was that after an extended wet spell some pitches would have been unsuitable for tents however it all dried out quickly.
This is an all time favourite site. It is nothing flash with two basic toilet/shower blocks. It is easily accessible for caravans and has 77 grassy pitches.
The site is on the banks of the River Oust and is part of the Nantes – Brest Canal and campers can enjoy watching pleasure boats passing by.
Fishing is a favourite sport on this stretch of the river and there are enjoyable walks in both directions, where you can see colourful locks and wildlife.
The village has basic facilities, but it is a good base for visiting the Oust Valley, including Josselin, Carnac and Rochfort en Terre.
