Nice, quiet location in a well well mowed field Owner very relaxed and children and pets very friendly and welcoming with visiting children.
Close to M50 from North, Newent and Gloucester and good for visits to West side of Cotswolds, Forest of Dean and Welsh borders.
Berkeley Castle well worth a visit.
Would agree with last review, but toilet block is now basically unusable: mouldy, damp and uncleaned, but if you don't need to use this the site is lovely.

This is a great little CL a few miles from Newent in Gloucs.
The site is basically a field(slightly sloping), electric hook up, and a brand new porta cabin with a toilet and sink, which is absolutely spotless.
Always a warm welcome form the owners who live in the house adjacent to the site.
If you arrive via the M50, make sure you exit at junction 3. Satnav sent us off at J2-you really don't want to go that route as it is a very very narrow lane.
Visited this site numerous times, and is an ideal spot to explore Cheltenham, Tewskesbury, Ross On wye, Monmouth. Porth cawl which has a lovely beach took around 1.5 hours.
Sizzling Wok chinese takeaway is amazing, If you fancy a pint while waiting for your meal, The George about 2 doors away is a very friendly little pub. The Black Dog is further down the town, does basic bar meals, Ian the owner is very friendly and always pleased to see you.
Westons cider farm at Much Markle is worth a visit with factory tours, and an animal farm for the kids.
In Newent itself, you have the Shambles Victorian Village, we found it slightly disappointing, but may be worth a visit.
There is an Onion fair in September, the whole town is shut off with fairground, stalls etc, plus the onion display itself.
Cost per night is £8.50 inc awning and electric hook-up.
Overall a fantastic little CL, and well worth a visit
