Excellent: lakes, Fantastic specimens great facilities, friendly welcome.

Will definitely be returning, if you like your country side, peace and quiet, surrounded by nature, this is a great place.

Liked it a lot. I'm going to reiterate much of what Boon2696 said (lazy me)!

Arrived at this site with the intention of having a relaxing peaceful long week end visiting doughter and family who live in Kentisbeare - Covid regs wouldn't allow us to stay with them.

The owner met us on arrival and was one of those 'got a problem give me a knock' type of people who never bothered us again. The site had 5 hard standings all with own water and electric hook ups. The pitch was nice and level too.

There's a small toilet block with 1 x shower and 1 x toilet room, but we used our own facilities in the caravan. We're not anglers but it's a very nice site just to enjoy the peace and fresh air. We did put up our small awning and found the ground was very difficult to get pegs into so we repositioned the caravan such that the awning was on the grass.

We walked to Kentisbeare easily in about 15-20 mins and enjoyed the Wyndham Arms pub there. Cullompton has a good Tesco with a petrol station at 5 or 10 minutes drive away.

There is nothing at this site for children but large areas of water everywhere and clean country air. I would not take small (grand) children due to the amount of water.

Good value and a good stay. Thanks!

Superb site. Very peaceful. Pitches great all hardstanding and the walks around the area are great. Super pub in nearby Kentisbeare. Great site altogether- certainly will go back again. Great to have water at each pitch.

Toilet block very clean and good shower (pay fee)

Site owner very friendly and gives good advice on area etc. We don't fish but lovely to walk around lakes - the summer must be stunning. Easy to walk into Cullompton and very easy to find. If you like peace and quiet you will find it here.

Arrived at this site with the intention of having a relaxing peaceful long week end with a bit of fly fishing and that's exactly what we got

The owner met us on arrival and was one of those 'got a problem give me a knock' type of people who never bothered us again. The site had 5 hard standings all with own water and electric hook ups. With a small toilet block with 1 x shower and 1 x toilet room, which was perfect for the job and in excellent condition. The shower has a payment meter

The fishing was a little easy for an experienced fisherman but the wife found it great for her first time hunting the 'trout' the fish in the carp lake looked huge

There are 2 x local pubs we only visited the one in Kentesbeare about 1.5 miles away which was very reasonably priced and sold good pub grub and excellent local beer

Will use again either as a stop off to Cornwall or another week end

There is nothing at this site for children but large areas of water everywhere and clean country air. I would not take my 6 year old grand children due to the amount of water
