The caravan site is a 5 minute walk from the beach. Our caravan was clean and as advertised.
Our booking, arrival and departure were organised well and when we had a difficulty at the end, the manager was particularly helpful.
Our kids (15, 13 and 8) enjoyed themselves and so did we. There is a good chippy and bakery/pasty place very close by.
We body boarded, visited the beach and took a day at the Eden Project.
We will definitely be back in the near future.

Have been to this site many times - Can't fault it
IF you are looking for a riotous lively site right on the sea front this one is NOT for you. If however you want one that is quiet, well maintained and friendly which is also within easy walking distance of a wonderful beech (you can hear the sea even though you can't quite see it) then this one is for you. If you want amusement parks, swimming pools and bingo halls again go elsewhere but as Polzeath has all the facilities you need all that is required here is the laundry room provided.
The owners are nice, (strict but fair) - There are rules to keep the site quiet and free from unauthorised parking, skateboarders etc and as a result a peaceful stay is pretty much guaranteed. There is even a security guard at night during the summer to ensure no undesirables come onto the site. Dogs & children are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead and you clean up after them of course (the dogs of course not the children!)
Wonderful holiday wonderful site

Having never stayed in a static caravan before and wanting to be close to the beach this small, quiet location was exactly what we were looking for and met our expectations of the site and location perfectly.
The owners were very polite and helpful.
I cannot fault the caravan which was very clean and tidy, with washing line and outside storage for the beach equipment - a great bonus!
The site has a small laundrette but little else is required as the town and beach are 100 yards away.
We will be going back and will book early due to demand.

If you value peace and quiet on a Summer Holiday, then avoid this caravan site like the plague.
We stayed at the bottom of the caravan park where there is a public footpath passing through. This leads up the hill to nearby campsites which seem to actively encourage (quite nice) but incredibly loud teenagers who pass through shouting, whistling, and singing from 10 pm to 4am. Ear plugs were ineffective.
The camp site manager has employed a security guard to deal with this but is ineffective due to large groups of drunken teenagers passing through.
There are also holiday lets and 'terrier toff' second homes on the other side of the caravan park so you have 360 degree noise all night!
I can safely say that we will not be returning to this particular caravan park in future.
