Great site
Very friendly owners.
Good sized pitches
Virtually a private enclosed beach a short walk away with a small river running down to the sea - perfect for those with a young family
Mini golf on site - lovely pool and giant chess set by the pool side which was a hit with our family.
Loads to do in Concarneau - canoeing on the islands off of Concarneau a boat trip away (don't forget to pre book your canoes)
The market in Concarneau was great and Quimper also makes for a great day out

Pres Verts was a pleasant enough site with a mix of French, Dutch and Britsh campers in the main, with the odd Italian and Spanish thrown in. Pitches were of a reasonable size, around 100 sq m. We needed a mains extension lead, another 15m added to our 25m, in order to reach one of the sparse hook up points. These are in boxes scattered around the site. You will need a continental style plug or adapter and the the owner will come round in his electric golf buggy and wire you in. They charge more for higher current so careful with those high wattage electric kettles.
When we visited in mid August, the site was starting to look a little tired and really need a painter to refresh some of the parts of the two toilet blocks and a gardener to tidy up some of the overgrown areas, such as near the shop, which sold bread and other essentials, and the two table tennis tables. The mini golf advertised was fairly overgrown with weeds and not at all like the web site.
However, the pool was well kept and cleaned every day. Toilet blocks were clean too, but looked a little tired. The site itself was fairly quiet in the evenings, with no on-site bar or entertainment, though there was noise from one of the local houses one Saturday night, along with the fish festival fireworks. Staff were always very polite and spoke extremely good English. There was a small play area suitable for under fives, but nothing for larger children other than the pool. If you need hook-up, stop in the first half of the site. There was another two fields, the far one of which had superb views over the bay. Unfortunately these fields could be very windy; one family had a new aluminium frame gazebo mangled while we were there so care needed. The beach was a short walk past the fields and was very quiet, though there was a lot of seaweed and the sand was a bit gritty; observation rather than a complaint.
Overall, worth a visit if you want to see Concarneau which was 10 minutes away, or tour the area.

Lovely site in good location with a comfortable walk to the nearby small and quiet sandy beach. There is a small pool and play area on site but no other entertainment.
The site owners are very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
On arrival we were given a tour of the site and offered a choice of 6 different pitches. The site is maintained to a satisfactory standard and although the toilet/shower blocks are dated they are of a good size and clean.
We walked to Concarneau every day (30-40 mins) as its an enjoyable trek along a coast path and then around the town outskirts following the coast and beaches. The town itself has all the facilities required with loads of interesting shops within the fort by the harbour. The main restaurants overlook the harbour and all serve a wide variety of food but specialise in local sea food and crepes.
The nearby town of Quimper is worth a visit and like Concarneau, especially so on market day.
There is a small shop on site where we bought fresh bread but used a large supermarket (10 mins drive) for our main shopping.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this site for a base to explore the area or for families who are active and make their own entertainment.

Spent a great 2 weeks at this site and will definitely visit again.
If you like tent camping in a relaxed unspoiled environment, have a look!
The French owners are very friendly and have, thankfully, not given in to statics or hard concrete caravan pitches. The site is quite long over the 2 camping fields so the owners take you round to suggest areas in a golf buggy, what service!
Great location with a very nice small beach accessed by walking along a grassy path (200m)from the campsite. Although not a private beach, it was very empty!
Consists of 3 fields (2 camping areas) in a row towards the coast.
The majority of pitches are slightly sloping.
FRONT AREA
A few statics but otherwise grass pitches.
All facilities are in this area including the 2 shower blocks which are clean and with good supply of fast flowing hot water (they are not modern). Toilets do not have seats so prepare for some interesting hovering. That said, they were always clean, with good supply of paper. (probably too much information but it will save you carrying a loo roll on your first trip!)
The pool is great but was not heated( whilst we were there) and is a long way from the bottom of the second field
Well stocked shop.
Washing machines and driers are excellent.
2 outdoor table tennis tables (so take your bats!)
Mini golf is a sadly neglected area in need of a coat of paint and lots of weeding!
Although there is a purpose built bar, this is not running and does not appear to have done for some time.
SECOND AREA
All grass pitches, 50% ish with EHUs.
Some good sea views.
No other facilities in this field
THIRD FIELD
Large field but not really for campers though as it is long grass, although we did see a couple of tents setup under the few tress in the middle of the field. (Very long trek to the shower blocks (500m ish)! Views from this field over the sea are breathtaking so might be worth it for a couple of nights!
From the beach you can take two coastal paths.
The walk to Concarneau is gentle (2.5km ish) and you will be rewarded with a great selection of restaurants and pretty (if not crowded) walled fort. We did this loads of times with our young children 6 and 9.
The other coastal route is also great with wooded trails and beautiful sea views, the 4.5km trip did end in a very ugly campsite town though, so next time we will turn back after the last inlet!
The beaches on the coast heading towards Pont Aven look lovely but we discovered them too late.

Spent a wonderful first week of the summer holidays here. It is not sophisticated, flashy or modern. It is friendly, quiet and peaceful. The kids (3 and 1) loved it, the little beach is practically private and never busy, the playpark is small but OK, the pool clean and fine. There is loads to do around and about. Concarneau is a bit too far to walk but a place worthy of going to almost everyday. Quimper, Pont Aven and La Foret were all good, close trips. Toilets are clean if old. The couple who run it are attentive and ever present. The shop sells the best bread we tasted all holiday. Good mix of British/French/Dutch/Belgian. When we go back to this area we will go back here. If you're not into organised activities and the associated noise it will float your boat.
