Please note we have been advised that this campsite has closed, and no longer offers camping, motorhome or caravanning pitches, although the pub itself is still open. If you know that this situation has changed in the future, please could you let us know. Many thanks

Had a lovely 2 days on this site then 5 family's in tents turned up on the 3rd day and it's like hell. Music on full volume. Full on football match they only hit my car twice awning 3 times and caravan once. This is not a peaceful site now. I'm now thinking of packing up and leaving. It says 5 caravan club members but does not say anything about 25 tent campers. No toilets on site and I can't see a toilet tent anywhere. No shower facility's. Elsen point is a small round man hole.
The pub sell good beer and the food is also good.

This is the second time we have stayed at this site. I have to say we were a little disappointed this time. Whilst the field is lovely, the showers block does leave a lot to be desired. We stayed for 5 nights and they were not cleaned once in that time. We always mop showers after we use them but it would appear we were the only ones. There was no toilet paper, ok, not a big deal but a niggle. For £15 inc elec per night they really ought to clean the facilities. As for the pub itself, it's lovely. Good ale, according to my husband and the food is very nice if not a bit pricey. Not sure whether we will go back to this site again which is a shame as the location is fantastic. There is a lovely country park nearby with good cycling and walking tracks. Deal is very close by and is a lovely little town. Plenty of castles nearby, Deal, Walmer and Dover all very much worth a visit.

We are really please to have found this great little site to the rear of a fantastic pub which serves a variety of good local ales and serves great food.
Showers and toilets very clean. The site was level, and is within easy reach of both Deal and Sandwich.
The Pub is very dog friendly for which there are numerous walks directly from the site.
For cyclists you are minutes away from Fowlmead country park which is suitable for both mountain and road cyclists
Will definitely return a true bolt hole.

Lovely little site, easy to find, level ground, pub and staff friendly. £15 for night with hookup a little pricey. 2 x toilet & shower rooms but only 1 open and that could not be locked. Pub meals good, farm shop within 1 mile with great produce. Lots to do in local area but need own transport. Deal, Canterbury well worth a visit, there are numerous country pubs that offer great food and drink, the Duke William at Ickham is a particular favourite. Will go back soon that says it all.

Spent a couple of days here £8 inc electric cant beat that. We couldn't find the loo but that didn't worry us. 5 mins into town used the supermarket. Never mind, the site was clean and tidy, warm welcome. Didn't use the pub as I don't drink looked nice though. Will go again cos we go fishing in deal so a good base camp.

This is a Caravan Club CL only at the back of the Crown Inn at Finglesham outside Deal. It's got a grassy field, electrics, water etc and it's convenient for ferries in Dover as well as being near to the seaside at Deal where if you go right along to east of the waterfront, there's free parking do you can watch the sea, the boats coming and going and have a look round the pleasant streets and even more pleasant pubs of Deal. The pub itself does good food and beer and I think we paid £4 a night plus electric.
