Lovely CS, peaceful and ideally located for cycling and walking. Plenty of villages for sight seeing etc.
Small community shop in the village, just over 4 miles to supermarket. Pub in the village.
Cider farm with shop and restaurant close by.
Field is flat and was dry when we were there. Grass well maintained.

Lovely field on the edge of the village this is our second visit to Tadpole Field.
Walking distance to village cafe and 2 pubs. Community shop open most mornings.
Site has a toilet that is always spotless. No electric. No frills but a lovely spot
Will definitely visit again.

Absolutely marvellous. Lovely people on site and 5 minutes from a brilliant pub "The White Swan" which served good local ales and a fantastic Sunday dinner.
Some lovely easy walks in vicinity and an immaculate site with plenty of space to pitch up.
Will be returning soon. Thank you for a brilliant time.

Loved it. Level site, lots of space. CL, no electric, water tap, waste emptying, and close to the village. The poshest portaloo ever used, proper plumbed flush toilet and sink, felt embarrassed to tread wet grass into it, it was so clean. A credit to the owner. Used the site on the return trip too. Will return.

A lovely site, flat and spacious within easy reach of NT properties and other interesting places to visit. There's a little noise from the road, but it's well muffled by the hedges so is unobtrusive and I'd certainly call this a peaceful, relaxing site. The owner was lovely too, giving us some ideas on things to see in the village. There is only one portaloo type toilet, but it is the cleanest, most pristine toilet I think I've ever seen on a campsite! And it's a proper flushing one, not one of those chemical/suction types! If you want a friendly, clean, peaceful place to relax, this is a real bargain!

We returned for a couple of days to this fantastic campsite. The field is flat and immaculately kept. It has basic toilette facilities only but it is always spotlessly clean on a daily basis. The owner is so trusting that you have to chase her in order to pay the ridiculous sum of £ 3 per night per tent. There are a little shop and a lovely tea room in the village plus 2 pubs. The village itself is part of the Black & White Village Trail and is stunningly beautiful.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Tadpole field. The site is at the end of the village so convenient but still tranquil. The site is a large open field with hedges as shelter/privacy.
No rules as to how much room you have, and doggies welcome too. Very peaceful other than a snuffly horse next door! Not a problem!
A loo only, but beautifully clean with soap and towels fresh daily. Local shops, wonderful walks and a very friendly site owner! Camping heaven!
And only £3. 00 per tent! Bargain!
For showers there are loads of local swimming pools, rivers etc but camping is for being a bit grubby I reckon. A great week all in all.
