Stopped for a week with Richard & Diane in the school holidays. Lovely couple who were always happy to help out with advice / suggestions even to the extent of finding a B&B for my parents who wanted to visit. The site is really lovely - well looked after with loads of room and flat pitches. Two great loo / shower rooms which Diane cleaned out every morning - sparkling! Southerndown beach is the closest beach which is a great beach for the kids with sand / rock pools - just be aware of the tides as it completely disappears at high tide! Bridgend is only 15 minutes away to stock up re food and the local village shop is open until 9 p.m. For the basics. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at this site for two nights during the May half term and really enjoyed our stay. This is a new site, it had only opened up the weekend before we stayed so everything has a nice new/modern feel to it. This is classed as a Caravan Club Certified Location however there are around 12 electric hook up points available. There are two rooms consisting of sink, toilet and shower. These rooms are modern, the showers were very powerful and hot. The only negative point I have to make about the showers is that the whole floor gets wet when you are showering, they need to install something on the floor to stop the water going all over the rest of the rooms floorspace. There is also a washing machine and microwave available for campers use. The view from our pitch was nice. We could see hills/mountains and the sea in the distance. Access to the site isn't too bad, although you do go down a country lane that would cause a few problems if you meet anything too large coming the other way (we find a lot of sites are like this though and wouldn't be put off by this at all). Directions received from the site were very good, however I feel it would be a good idea if there were signs showing the routes into the site. Very friendly and helpful owners. Would definitely visit again.
