Just returned from a damp 2 weeks staying here, weather can't be booked unfortunately!
The site is lovely, little sloped but nothing too major. Well kept grass field with a few small fruit trees. Access is a short rural road, bit of a hill and is narrow but OK, entrance widens so easy access for our big 8ft van.
One of the longest established CL' s of over 50 years.
Toilet and Shower handy (toilet could do with a small handbasin), a shower will cost 20p per 2 mins - so average about 10 mins is £1.
Pitch electricity is now metered which keeps the site fee low and means you can keep an eye on your spend! The owner was saying it has ranged from 50p to £8 per night. Ours was £5 but wife and child with hairdryer and straighteners each day! Haha.
The location is ideal for Exeter for city attractions and also Exmouth, Dawlish, Teignmouth, Torquay etc for the seaside attractions.
Nothing on site for young children except for plenty of space to use and units well spread out. It's a working farm so there are a few sheep and cows in the fields adjacent to see.
Definitely be our first choice when returning to the area.

An excellent site in a lovely orchard location up a fairly narrow lane.
Very friendly and amenable owner who allowed us to leave our Motorhome parked up well after our scheduled departure time.
There was a shower, toilet and washing up facility on site which was a real bonus. The shower requires 20p coins.
I would recommend this CL. 9/10

Lovely small field with hookups. Site down narrow rural lane so peaceful.
Lovely friendly owner. Nothing to complain about!
We did not use shower facilities so can't comment.
There is recycling on site
We will definitely go back as daughter living in Exeter!

Absolutely love it here. Tucked amongst rolling hills, very rural, peaceful and welcoming.
Well spaced out pitch locations with pleasant outlooks, decent power supply, very simple but sound wc and shower (20p per 2 mins) and washing up area.
Golf centre a few minutes walk up the road apparently has a bar and restaurant and plenty of other good choices within driving distance but may need to book well in advance.
Narrow and steep but manageable access road.

For a middle aged couple this lovely CL site is close to perfect. The site is very pretty and tranquil, the immaculately kept toilet, washup sinks and shower were not really expected in this type of site. The whole area is unique in that whilst very rural it's only 5 minutes from a lovely village and about ten minutes from a city, sandy beaches, castle, motorway, railway bustling tourist resorts of Dawlish warren or ferry ride to Exmouth. Or you could happily sit outside your caravan in a lovely orchard/paddock absorbing the peace and quiet. The site suffered badly from the winter wet weather and the lower part of the pitch is still quite boggy a motorhome got stuck whilst we were there but sensibly even though the site can only take 5 units there are more than double that number of hookup's to allow for pitches to be rotated lessening damage to the paddock. The price is very reasonable, but the general slope everywhere would have made setting up the awning difficult so we didn't bother with it, there is Golf club a few hundred metres walk up the lane which appears to have a restaurant and bar open to the public so too the Golf course is a pay as you go affairm we thought we saw people doing archery as well. The access lane is very narrow and steep coming from Exminster, don't believe your satnav if programming in the post code only as is sends you to an address about a mile away iin the same lane but in Exminster. In summing up it's the sort of place that I hope too many people never find.

A lovely quiet small site set in a small orchard, the main noise was from the wild geese flying overhead.
The facilities were always spotlessly clean, and the provision of a sink with hot water to do washing up was very welcome.
The hot shower is now 20p per 2 minutes, but the site itself is very reasonably priced so we figured we could still spend ages in the shower before we were paying anything like what we would have been doing at some bigger sites. Unfortunately the meter for the shower is not within the shower cubicle so make sure someone else is on hand to put money in! The shower floor was very slippery, with no handrails or chair to sit on - so take a stool/chair from your caravan if you've got one.
The Exeter area has lots of cyclepaths, but the road to the site is rather narrow and hilly. If you park your car next to the railway line near Powderham Church you can walk along the seawall to The Turf Inn the only pub with no road access (except for private deliveries) - it's about ½ hour brisk walk but the beer and food are really good.
There are strict rules about keeping dogs on a lead at all times and not a lot to do if you're a child, but if you're after a quiet well looked after site it's lovely. Usually busy during the holiday season so you really need to make sure you book in advance.

Been to this site twice now and can recommend it for peace and tranquillity.
Being CL is has space for 5 units with EHU in old orchard.
Shower and wash up facility in old barn with separate WC Nearest watering hole is the Golf Club further up the lane. No Pubs close by.
Very convenient for Exeter shopping.
Friendly owners. As this CL, not really suitable for children no play area etc but there are farm animals on land nearby.
Would recommend a visit to Exminster which has a sandy beach and long promenade.

A very nice CL based in an orchard and with very good washing facilities including a shower (20p) and electric hookups. The site is very quiet, but conveniently placed for Exeter. Nearby is Powerham Castle, which holds various events and has a very good farm shop. From the church near Powderham you can cycle into Exeter along the river / canal side along a cycle track.
