We left this site early after just 3 horrid nights!
Having booked a 'Premium' pitch almost 10 months in advance and paying the most we have ever spent on a site, we were looking forward to our stay. Despite stating on our booking that we needed an easily accessible pitch for our large unit, we were allocated a very difficult spot with lots of trees in the way. We managed to manoeuvre our van with the help of the mover but didn't realise until departure that we needed to turn the van 180 degrees to leave. This was incredibly dangerous and difficult due to trees and deep ditches and it led to a great deal of stress.
From what I could see, pretty much every 'Premium' pitch is located in the same dark and airless corner of the site - as far away as possible from all amenities. Premium pitches come with the their own little private bathroom and kitchen hut - a brilliant idea. They have a picnic table, umbrella and sun chairs. The reality is that it is impossible to actually enjoy these facilities because we couldn't stay on the pitch due to the endless mosquito assault. It was merciless because the pitches are sited under mass trees with lots of low foliage and no grass is present at all. Our family are not usually mosquito magnets and we travel extensively so we have all the barrier treatments but they were useless to the onslaught and we were all in agony after our first night and day.
I found this site to be too big with camping/caravan pitches too crammed into areas that seem almost an after-thought in the grand scheme of lodges and statics. It wasn't restful and peaceful and we were there in the first few days of July. On the upside, our teenage girls enjoyed their time at the pool and we had a lovely family meal at the restaurant and good food from the takeaway (we had no choice as we couldn't eat on our pitch!). All the staff we encountered were engaging and keen to assist.
On complaining, we were allowed to leave early with no penalty but we didn't receive any refund for the 3 appalling nights we had to suffer whilst we found somewhere else to stay.

2 weeks with 2 children (10 and 4). Upside: The pool was excellent - kids loved the rapids and slides - landscaping around the pool was superb. At the evening restaurant food & atmosphere fantastic - one night had a fantastic band playing - everyone enjoyed it. The on site shop was great - excellent freshly baked bread/rolls etc first thing in the morning, stock generally was superb - we did not need to visit a supermarket once when there. Toilets were very clean, big showers with sinks integrated. Great kids shower area - little shower of their own and low down sink - our kids loved the independence of that.
Downsides: Very busy pool. Restaurant closed at lunchtime. Small number of sunbeds meant we had to put towels on uncomfortable ground - this made it so we did not really want to spend much time around the pool. Quite a distance from beach (although there are many lovely beaches along the coast from there you had to drive to them - I prefer where I don't have to drive) & felt no air on pitch - strange really - we did ask for very shady pitches as worried about the heat but ended up being stiffled with no breeze. Not perfect for motorhomes who pitch up and don't drive around in it because I would not want to spend the whole 2 weeks on site here. We ended up hiring a car which appeared to be a one off for them as it was quite a task trying to sort it out.

Excellent family site with first class facilities : Pitches are large and surrounded on 3 sides by hedges/shrubs. Many of them have trees which give good shade but watch out for the ones with black berries which make a real mess ! Also found the ground a little stony so take a good selection of pegs. Sanitary blocks are very modern and spotlessly clean. The on site shop is very good and carries a fair selection of products. Pool is good but does not provide sun loungers - you have to hire them! There is a sports area with 5 a side football, Tennis, and petanque. Entertainments are the best we have come across - there was something on every evening - caberet etc - provided by the campsite team (and free !) Frejus/St Raphael is 5 mins away and St Tropez/Cannes/Nice are all within easy reach. Will definitely be back
