Late August this site definitely felt like it was the end of the season. Lovely peaceful location right next to a lake. We had a lakeside pitch in our campervan which was about 3 metres from the waters edge so the views were fantastic. We didn't move the van at all in our 10 day stay. We used our bikes to visit Chanaz along the cycle path and hired an electric boat to go along the canal and into Lac Bourget. The supermarket was a 15 minute cycle along the cycle path in the other direction on the outskirts of Belley. There wAs also a toy shop and McDonald's here.
There is a restaurant on site but we only used it to get take away chips. The bar is welcoming and good value and a pleasant spot to sit in the evening. The new toilet block was good, as were the pool and all other facilities. Although the shop barely had anything left in it.
All in all we had a great stay, apart from one thing which sounds petty but was very annoying. Reception closes at lunchtime and so they put a note on the door for new arrivals, showing where they could pitch. The annoying thing was that the 2 pitches next to us were highlighted for the whole time and it was never updated. So anyone arriving over lunchtime always pitched next to us. Most of the other lakeside pitches were free but we were always surrounded!
Weather was fantastically sunny in the day and then cool at night. About perfect!

Stayed on this site for a week in mid august. We had a lakeside pitch which was fantastic. The views across the lake are a real treat. The site had all the usual facilities. The toilet and shower blocks were nice and clean. Only a small site so we didn't have any problems waiting for showers etc. Water was always hot !. There was a restaurant and bar area although we didn't go there so cant comment.
We would deffo go back to this site. So much to do in the area as well. Annecy abt 1 hr, Chamonix abt 2 hrs !

We stayed on this site for three days whilst travelling 'down south'. We had a lakeside pitch with EHU. The setting is amazing. Waking up in the campervan with the most beautiful lake and mountains in the distance is quite amazing! The lake comes complete with swans! Our three boys loved swimming in the lake (and only used the pool a couple of times). You can hire out boats which is good fun in fact the lake was so good we didn't leave the site at all! There is a café/bar but we didn't use this - our lakeside pitch was far too good. Toilets/showers were standard and ok. There is a playground area / not too big but big enough for the boys. A water jet area and beach area to use if you don't have a lakeside pitch.

Following a few years of holidays on the south coast blighted by either bad weather or all night discos in cramped sites, we decided to holiday in this region. We discovered this site on a bit of a rest on return from a ski holiday and we are so so glad we did.
It is a beautiful site in a perfectly tranquil location, with amazing views over the lake and mountains. Close enough to town to allow the necessary shopping and a small shop on site for daily bread and some essentials. The swimming pool, although small, is immaculate and never over busy. The same can be said for the playground and ping-pong areas. Bikes are available for hire, along with those small trailers for kids. In the immediate area there is the small port, and a restaurant around the lake (lovely walk) where the food and ambiance is good. We spent most of our time relaxing on our beachside pitch, our toddler was in her element with the freedom, and our teenager didn't complain once about being bored!
The bar and restaurant on site is lovely and friendly. Great pizzas and evening menu. Occasional entertainment is on here but even that ends by midnight so no problem for sleeping litte ones. All the facilities were in excellent condition, although it was a slight niggle that the light switch in the washing up area was on a timer so needed re-setting every 3 minutes or so. Apart from that, there is nothing negative to say.
We have booked for 3 weeks this year and would highly recommend this site to people wanting an away from it all relaxing holiday.

We were not intending to stop at this site, but the weather was so bad, with low cloud that we decided to stop. When the clouds cleared the view was truly beautiful. The site is set beside a lake which forms part of the river Rhone, and there are mountains in the distance. There are boats for hire, fishing and pleasant walks nearby. The site is well managed and clean and tidy, as are the toilet and shower facilities. There is a laundry room, tennis courts, a bar serving meals and snacks. The swimming pool overlooks the lake. The owners who live on site were very helpful. We were only going to stay a couple of nights but ended up staying a week!
