Very nice site, located close to the M6, great for a stop over. We stopped on the hardstanding on the other side of the road as the grass can be difficult when wet.
Facilities were basic but perfectly adequate. The owner was very helpful.
Great fun watching the swallows flying in and out of the barn.

We visited this CL as a base to visit a relative in Hospital and were pleased with the location as it was very close to the motorway but well hidden in the beautiful surrounding countryside.
The owner could not be more helpful & certainly looks after the site as it was well tended and the pitches are spacious with lovely views from each pitch.
The toilet & chemical disposal are together in one small building & the shower which now has a door is located in the garage & has plenty of hot water.
We will certainly be visiting this CL again when hopefully we will have more time to explore the area.

Visited this site for a very wet and windy 2 night stay. We have a 22ft motorhome and the main field was drenched so they put us across the road outside the barn which has partially hard standing outside. The barn also has electric hookups with loads of spare hook up leads if needed. The site is in a lovely position, although the M6 is close you don't really notice too much road noise (although that could be because the high winds masked it!). Facilities are in the garage with a loo/chemical waste disposal nearby. We were able to walk into Endmoor village on the first afternoon which has a little village shop & bakery. You can also walk into Crooklands but weather didn't allow us to venture out next day. The road in from the A65 gets a bit narrow but there are passing places so we got on OK you just need to take your time. Mrs Clarke is very helpful and this is a site we will definitely return to. In better weather!

I have stopped here several times. Cl site (5 caravans)
Pleasant site, grassed orchard with stream at the bottom, electric hook-ups, toilet, with a shower in the garage (not very good as only a curtain for privacy)
Mrs Clarke the owner is very helpful and informative. Site well situated with beautiful countryside all around, ideal for Kendal, Southern Lakes, Carnfoth, (Brief Encounter experience) Yorkshire dales.
There is a Small grocers/newsagents in Crooklands 1 mile from site, and several pubs close by.
