We very much enjoyed our stay, there were great views from the campsite and the family that run the site are friendly and welcoming.
The facilities were a little on the basic side but perfectly adequate and clean, and overall very good value for money

We booked this site at the last minute for the Bank Holiday and the owner was more than happy to fit us in. The site is incredibly peaceful, situated on a hill to the east of Aberdaron. The site has basic facilities including toilet emptying and shower(£1 a time - 20p coins required). The owner charges a very reasonable £10 a night for motorhomes including EHU. Children can play quite safely in both of the fields making up the site which is set back well away from the road. The views are excellent although the site is surrounded on three sides by earth embankments - a good asset as it can sometimes be quite windy!

We have just returned from Bryn Farm, Aberdaron -the hidden gem of the Lleyn peninsula. If you are after space, views and a quiet site to 'just chill' or play games with the family - then this is the site for you.
Facilities are currently basic (toilet, freshwater tap, EHUs and elsan disposal point) but they are always kept clean and the friendly owners have recently installed a children's trampoline and construction of a toilet / showers block is due to commence end of April 2012.
What will keep you coming back however is not the facilities or the warmth of the welcome alone, but the elevated location - a large mainly level field with 360 degree views and superb vistas of Aberdaron Bay, Ynys Enlli (Bardsey island), Ynys Gwylan-fawr and Gwlan-bach, Mynydd Rhiw and Mynydd Mawr. A short walk along the lane gives access to the National Trust farm at Pehrhyn Mawr from where it is possible to walk to the headland for Sea fishing, bird watching (No access to the beach). After a day of beach action (lots of great beaches within a few minutes drive) you can return to the site to watch the sun sink behind Mynydd Mawr as you sup your wine or play football / french cricket with the kids on the large, safe field. It is a working farm but the owners are very attuned to the needs of their guests and in particular children, so children can walk / cycle around the camp field and adjacent lane.
Aberdaron itself has a Spar shop, bakery, newsagent, 2 pubs / hotels, a chippy, ice cream shop, cafe etc and is within walking distance although some younger children might find the walk back up the road quite steep. This can be avoided by the longer walk on public footpaths by the Afon Daron river.

We went to Bryn Farm for a week in mid August. First thing to mention is don't try to enter the field by the first gate! go through the farmyard where you can take a wider swing and enter via the back!
Beautiful large field very well kept. There was 3 other vans there that looked as though they were seasonal pitches. It's a bit of a hike to the only stand pipe on the field and the toilet and showers were situated in a static caravan that weren't for general use but Mr Williams kindly let our party use.
The location was superb , although there wasn't a sea view due to built up dykes surrounding the field as soon as you walked out of the site the views were stunning!
At £12 per night inc awning and hook-up I considered it very good value.
As it's a working farm there was a little morning noise but nothing compared to the noise you can get on a crowded site.
We'll certainly be going again.
