Lovely site, stayed for a week and there is plenty to do for the kids. Entertainment is great for children and adults, and the pool is very clean and safe with 2 attendants there at all times.
There is a playground right next to the pub/restaurant and take-away which is very handy! Crabbing is great around the back of the pub/restaurant when the tide is in.
The site is a short drive from Teignmouth, Dawlish and Dawlish Warren, and not far from Torbay.
I would definitely go back especially for the low price for our family

Very nice site, been there loads of times before.
A Hilly Site, The Chip shop is very good and a good price, has a bar but didn't go in it. Site shop not impressed - small and a small selection. Views over the river nice staff are friendly and helpful.
Depends on what bit of site Parking is either beside van or central car park, or as close to van as possible, Parking bays are designated to caravan, so there should be no problem parking.
Is a small site compared to some. Vans were nice and up to date.

Just got back from this site and would recommend it to any one with small children. Fantastic location and good base for touring the area, pity they dont take touring caravans or tents. But after the summer we are having, just getting the other half to go away in this country was an achievement in itself.
The amenities were pretty good if you have a young family, ie good outside play area. The nightly entertainment was enjoyable and the restaraunt was very good with a good carvery on certain evenings.

I have stopped at this site as far back as 1997 when I got wed.And went back 7 years after and some of the same entertainment was still going on.I felt like uri geller.Lol
A well kept site close to the village of shaldon.Pool fair size never to busy when we have visited an amusement arcade very dated but not to bad(anyone who grew up in the 80's would love it).
Entertainment is pretty good ,bar prices are what you would expect. They have a small children's area and games room.
Takeaway on site and pub/food restaurant food is a little more expensive in restaurant .Close to torquay, paignton, teighnmouth, brixam etc exellent base camp.
Ness beach and shaldon wildlife trust (small zoo) a short walk away.
All in all a good site I have visited about 5 times and never seen any trouble in club house or experienced late night noise other than what expected very clean as well. Also a nice village (shaldon) down the road with cafe's on the river side
Good onsite allround and will visit again
8/10
