We have driven past this campsite many times so decided to give it a try. It should be noted that this campsite has changed its name and the UKCampsite entry now reflects this once we informed them but the old name still appears on many maps.
This is an ACSI site (listed under its new name) and represents good value for money. Access is straightforward turning at the traffic lights on the D980 near Fort Saint-Andre, there is a large public car parking area at the front of the site.
Very nice people on reception made the booking in process straightforward and we were allowed to choose our own pitch. Pitches are grass and have 10 amp electricity and vary in size. The site has a large number of mobile homes to the rear with touring pitches to the front with electric on one side and non-electric on the other. There are two sanitary blocks and although dated are kept clean. For motorhome owners there is a motorhome point to the rear of the site and there are also numerous water taps all around the site which was good to see. Also on site is a snack bar/take away but it was closed in May so we cannot comment on it.
The site forms part of sports complex with tennis, skate boarding park, children's playground and a swimming pool (free to use for campers).
Villeneuve-les-Avignon is worth a visit as is Fort Saint-Andre and a bit further on is Avignon itself where we have stayed before. Overall we found this a pleasant site and would definitely stay again and maybe for a couple of days next time to visit the local area.

Easily accessible, convenient location, walking distance to town but needed to drive to Avignon. Pitches spacious, lots of shade, good play area, bouncy castle, facilities clean, water only tepid, staff helpful. Local town well worth a look very interesting and in some ways superior to Avignon. Avignon itself lots to see and do guided train for those that require it, plenty of shops and historic sites.

Reasonable sized Municipal site adjacent to the local sports complex and swimming pool. Use of the site allows use of the swimming pool complex.
Pitches are well marked but a bit baren in the grass department. There is a large number of trees on site which, together with the long, hot, dry summers causes the grass some problems.
Facilities were spotless. There is a small cafe on site and a TV room. The night we stayed there was live music. We did however thing it a bit expensive at over 20 euros.
Would I use it again - possibly - but because of the cost, only if nothing else was available.
