 This is a little gem !

Campsite has been upgraded and toilets showers are top class.

Lovely quiet setting on small lake 5 mins walk to town.

Definitely be back again.

 Well 8 years on from last reviewer and not much has changed here. We are on site as I write this and while most of all has been already said the tv room has had an update the furniture is good its a lovely big room its also lovely to gaze out over the lake a seat would go down well there just a bench but if nothing else has been revamped hardly likely I'll see a bench appear.

What a shame and a disgrace like last person said it has a multitude of potential it has lovely surroundings but could be amazing than just ok.

It never ceases to amaze me that council will let these places deteriorate before they'll update them then people will stay on or even arrive to stay on.

We will return again God willing it. But I dare say nothing will be changed mores the pity.

 This site needs a complete overhaul pitches are covered in branches and moss. Toilet blocks consist of two toilets and 1 shower probably there from building was constructed, very hot water which you cant regulate from shower and sinks just have cold water.

Tv area very spacious but furniture falling apart, tiles lifting off floor and very dirty cobwebs on inside of door. Tiles had been lifted from outside and left under chair in tv area.

We tried to prebook this campsite but after 5 failed attempts to phone them we just arrived on site and thought it was closed just 1 other caravan on site. When we got an answer we were told that you are supposed to prebook

This site has the potential to be one of the best sites in Ireland if it was given a good overhaul and tidy up, the setting and where its situated are second to none.
