Love this simple family run and friendly site, plenty of room on each pitch for everyone to relax and enjoy the peace, quiet and stunning sunsets of Cornwall.
We prebookeded a pitch with EHU. No issues with free Wifi in all the site, so was able to keep in touch with family and friends.
Showers and toilets cleaned regularly, the water comes up from a well and is delightful to drink.
There is a bus stop just outside the site with a regular bus service to local areas.
Coverack is 2 miles away with a beautiful clean water bay, lots of cafe's and a cracking fish and chippy in the old life boat house.

We were not looking for anything posh. Just clean friendly etc.
We were so pleased that for once a site had learned that we need hooks in the shower. This place provides them in abundance.
The grass was loverly. Wish my lawn at home was so nice!
Could do a bit more to improve the shower block and it's cleanliness but we are not expecting gold standard here.
Noticed the sign on the road and that is why we choose it.

Excellent quiet site with nice mowed grass and peg friendly ground.
A clean shower and toilet with separate male and female facilities.
There are 2 very nice pubs on the nearby village of st keverne approximately 2 miles down the road.
Lovely foot path walk exists to coverack bay where there is a hotel bar serving food.
The bay is very picturesque.
Thoroughly recommended

Just returned from six nights at this campsite with our Dandy folding camper. Owner very friendly and helpful. Didn't pester for payment, in fact I had to seek her out to pay for our last night. I like the fact they charge the same price all year round (£6 per adult)and no charge for dogs (they are very dog friendly).
It's a basic campsite as others have said, with two toilets and one shower for each sex but both kept immaculately clean. When we were there, there were at most four units so no problem with queues. Not the most peaceful of campsites with a main road nearby but nice level ground.
We would have stayed longer but the weather turned bad and it got very windy. The freezer is very useful and a nice touch. It enabled us to keep our bread frozen and also to freeze leftovers of a meal as well as keeping ice blocks in.
There are also soap and paper towels in the toilets, another nice touch. There are a couple of electric hook ups. As others have said, a washing up area would be useful.
The nearest shop is at St Keverne, two miles away, where there is a butcher and grocer with a good selection of food, etc. Most of the meat at the grocers is frozen so, if you can, get to the butcher before closing (5. 30 weekdays, 1pm Saturday).
They will sell you small quantities of meat. The butcher supplies the grocers anyway. There is also a bakers but we didn't have the opportunity to use it.
Apparently Zoar Garage, a five minute walk away on the main road, sells milk. There are two pubs in St Keverne but we didn't try either of them. A bit further away is Helston, where there is a Tesco and Sainsburys. There is a dog friendly beach at Kennack Sands (next to the main beach).
The purpose of our visit was to continue South West Coast Path walking and the site is ideally situated for walking on the Lizard.
All in all, I would recommend the campsite.

Just had a fabulous fortnight at Zoar. It was a great base from which to get around the Lizard and south Cornwall attractions, beaches and towns. The area has some great places to eat, interesting walks and some of the few beaches on the Lizard that allow dogs.
The site was never overcrowded and so the two toilets and one lovely shower for ladies (same for men) were sufficient. I missed a washing up facility but don't mind washing pots by the tent. I was annoyed by campers using the shower block sink for washing up when I needed to wash my hands or brush my teeth!
The camp owners were friendly and so were their horses and cows in the adjacent fields! This camp is definitely good value.

We have just returned having spent three days at Zoar campsite. We went with two other couples with children etc. We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly owner. The site itself had a level field which was well cut so the grass was not too long.
The toilet/shower blocks were well maintained. Cleaned daily and there was always hot water. The toilet blocks themselves were small (2 Toilets & 1 shower) in both the the male and female block, however due to the size of the campsite this was never an issue and none of our party had to queue for any of these facilities.
The free to use chest freezer was a great add on as campers could leave their food in this until required(just mark the bags with your name).
We were looking for a quiet location with quiet surroundings and were not disappointed, the calf being born in the field immediately behind us was an added bonus.
Only criticism/suggestion: I would suggest that a washing up facility would greatly benefit the site and would be relatively cheap to set up. At present any washing up has to be done in the toilet block (small sink).
Overall a Great little campsite which I would happily book again.

Lovely, lovely, lovely! A great big flat field, spacious and quiet, unmown areas keep tents separate and prevent overcrowding. There are power points for some pitches but we didn't opt for that.
The toilet/shower block was very clean and well stocked with loo paper, paper towels and soap, and the hot water was always hot. A big shared chest freezer was also available for cool packs and frozen food.
Only one entrance/ exit so the kids were safe playing outside the tents. Very reasonably priced, basic but clean and perfect for what we wanted - a quiet hideaway.
Good location for local beaches, but you will need a car to get to the beach, shops, or if you don't fancy cooking and want a takeaway/ meal out.
My only request to make this site absolutely perfect would be a washing up sink, so don't forget to take a washing up bowl if you visit.
