Wow. Just back from 3 nights here during the first week of April, it was amazing! My husband and I went for a break away from the children and everyday life and have returned feeling completely relaxed and refreshed! The tent is wonderful, bed is comfy and everything you need is provided. Lovely shower in the bathroom, brilliant location, lots of wildlife to look out for including a couple of deer on the river bank at dusk and marsh harriers flying around. Not forgetting the many rabbits!
Abi has done such a fantastic job with this place with real attention to detail. The site is just a minute or so from Haddiscoe Station which takes you to Norwich or Lowestoft. We got the train to Somerleyton for a fabulous dinner at the Dukes Head pub. Do not be put off by the proximity to the train line, it did not disturb us at all and provides easy links throughout Norfolk and Suffolk. I would recommend this place to anyone, with or without children. For us it will stay as our retreat from it all though! I would recommend taking BBQ things so you can cook on the camp fire, we ate this way most evenings! In one word. Superb!
