A lovely little CL; simple but *really* well kept.
A five unit maximum, CAMC CL site (members only) on a working farm. Views are stunning - over fields towards Kirkby Malzeard.
Good water, electricity, rubbish, recycling and elsan facilities. All really straight forward and easily accessed.
Dog walking is really easy and enjoyable on site - the enormous field just opposite the site. We took our Labrador and she loved being off the lead there. We saw deer on the fields as we were out walking the dog in the morning and the birdlife is excellent.
Fountains Abbey, Brimham Rocks. Ripon, Masham - all within 15 minutes drive. We had fish and chips from Kirkby Malzeard on our second night and they were really very nice.
A lovely site in a lovely part of the world with a lovely warm welcome and lovely views.
The only thing I would urge is plan your route in carefully. I traveled via Galphay from Ripon and thought the road was a little narrow in places - thankfully I didn't meet anything coming the other way.

Great location and very easy access from Ripon and the A1(M) - the lanes are not too narrow and it's easy to pass other vehicles. The site itself it set down a drive so well away from the road - meaning that there is no road noise at all. The site itself is open and there are views of the Moors through the trees.
It's a gently sloping field with several EHU points but NO marked pitches so you can settle where you want and space yourself away from others. Water Tap and Chemical Disposal.
WiFi can be a little patchy at times but generally no problem with both phone signal and mobile data access also good. In all a lovely quiet site with very friendly owners, fantastic location and on our list to visit again.

Just about perfect site. Peaceful and relaxing, it sits atop a small hill, but high enough to give wonderful views North and East over Kikby Malzeard and the surrounding area. Sunset is not to be missed and getting up to these views on a morning makes you feel truly blessed. Site is well manicured and roomy. Owner Catherine is a pleasant & helpful Lady. They have a field adjacent to the site where dogs can be walked and a lengthy lane down to the road, all they ask is you pick up after your dog - fairs fair! Hook up is 10A and pitches slope a little so levelling blocks and/or ramps will be needed.

May BH We were a fairly large group 2 Motorhomes 2 Campervan and most of the group in the lovely cottages. There are stunning views all around on this working farm. The owner CATHERINE is just a lovely host. There are walks and trails all around and some within a short car trip. Two villages within easy stroll where you can eat drink and relax. Relaxation is the key word as there is no traffic noise just the sound of the farm sheep and cows all of which had lambs and calfs. I visited Pateley Bridge which is built on a 10 % hill. On site own sanitation is mandatory, there is a disposal facility. Can't wait to pay another visit. Whether you are touring or after peace and quiet I would recommend West Leas Farm

Very neatly kept site, owners very friendly. 20 min stroll through the fields to Kirkby Malzeard village, 2 pubs, shop, post office & garage. 20 min stroll the other way to the village of Galphay where lunch or dinner at the lovely old Glaphay Inn is an absolute must ! Electric hook ups on this slightly sloping 5 van site, even has an 'internet hut'. Good base for walking, or just relaxing.
