A small, basic campsite with toilet and shower facilities.
Located in the grounds of the Dinas castle Inn, it’s perfect for a 1-2 night stay if you’re hiking in the area.
The pub offers good food, a selection of local beers, and the staff are very friendly.
A great spot for a simple, no-fuss camping experience.

Basic but good value site. Two toilets and one shower(this was prone to blocking and involved a balancing act to stay dry while dressing. The water was hot though!)
Right next to the Pub which does food and has lots of board games and arm wrestling.
Within easy reach of plenty of activities. We went canoeing on the Wye, horse riding and indoor climbing.
The only poor point about the site is the entrance, which is quite concealed. Going in wasn't too bad but leaving is bordering on dangerous.
Large slope up onto a fast road. Surprised there wasn't a sign warning drivers but in this crazy world it usually requires a major accident to happen before the council do anything!Just beware when leaving the site!
Would we stay again? Yes!

Visited this site only for a couple of nights, on arrival the pub / site owner greeted us explained about the keys pitch number, very friendly and helpful.
The site is clean and quiet and dog friendly, the pot washing facilities were good showers and toilet block was clean.
We went into the pub the lagers and beers were well priced and the landlady and staff were brill. The pub food looked good although we didn't eat other people said it was good. The pub is also dog friendly as there is a separate restaurant to eat.
There is some great walks along the river ouse. We will be back to this site for sure, it's great.

A friend and myself booked in for a long weekend and this site proved excellent for a relaxing few days. The Castle Inn is situated on the main road so very easy to find. Despite this, traffic noise wasn't intrusive.
The site feels nice & remote, in the base of a valley with imposing views all around, just a few farm buildings and no shop (although Talgarth is a short drive away for emergency supplies). The compact tiered campsite was well maintained with limited parking although the pub car park is nearby. The toilets were immaculate on arrival and the (free) shower hot and powerful!
The pub itself was nice with a good choice of drinks including Welsh vodka/whisky/gin! All staff were very friendly and the food excellent. Items such as steak, venison etc were sealed then brought out on a hot rock for you to cook to your liking! All good value too.
For 1 or 2 days of walking or cycling, the location and price of the Castle Inn are hard to beat.

The Pub itself is a good size with some good real ales on tap. The food in the pub was very good and reasonably priced. The menu included a good range of locally sourced meats which were delicious.
The Camping field is next to the pub and consists of 2 terraced levels providing flat and comfortable conditions for pitching your tent. There are toilets and a shower available at no extra charge.
The pub is in a good location for the Black Mountains and East side of the Brecon Beacons.
The price was phenomenally good for the location, beer, and food on offer.
The landlady and staff were friendly and my extended weekend trip was totally relaxing.
I will most definitely use this Pub campsite time and again.
