Just off the Route de Napoleon this is an excellent stop over for anyone who likes to get off the Route de Soliel on their journey to the Mediterranean and see some beautiful Mountain Scenery.
This small tiered site has everything you require - friendly staff, restaurant, swimming pool ( covered in bad weather), a games room and 2 shower blocks - all of good standard.
If that is not enough the scenery is to die for and almost unheard of in France the tent pitches are on lush grass.
We will probably be back for a longer stay to take in all that other reviewers suggest we missed!

There are only 5 mobile homes on this campsite. Ours had a wonderful mountain view and seemed relatively new with modern decor and all mod cons. I swam in the covered pool (on my own) every day and the children had the playground to themselves.
The playground, like the rest of the park, is immaculately maintained. We had a good meal in the restaurant, ordered bread, bought a few essentials in the shop, played table tennis in the games room and picked up leaflets in the tv lounge so I can say we used every part of the site.
It is all fantastic and just what you need in a campsite. The views are stunning, there are wonderful places to visit close by (the chateau at Vizille is superb) and the site owners are lovely. Absolutely first class!

I suspect that we, like most people found this site by accident. Ten years ago now we were travelling to the Med and needed to stop for the night.
The site, which is generally quiet, is run by a young French family who are very welcoming, is immaculate it’s like camping in someone’s garden. The toilet, shower and laundry rooms are modern and spotless. The pitches are reasonably level and fairly private and the views from the site are spectacular consequently we have been camping there ever since for varying lengths of time and usually in June.
The heated pool is uncovered in good weather and I never tire of swimming whilst surrounded by mountains still covered in snow. There is a TV room and games room and the site is very child friendly. There are many good restaurants in the area but the one on site although small is excellent and besides you don’t have far to go home!
There are lots of facilities on site and in the area. There is plenty to do and places to visit in fact we stayed there for a fortnight last year, 2009, and still did not see everything. The walks are wonderful but a G&T under a tree in the sunshine just gazing at the mountains takes some beating.

This smallish campsite is on the route napoleon and is well sighned posted after la mure, it has a covered swimming pool and small resturant, you can order bread and crossants at night for the following morning, its has unisex showers/toilet block and a really good motorhome service point.
The pitches are nicely hedged and are a good size, we only stayed 2 nights but there seems to be a lot to do in the area but you would need transport and its a bit hilly for bikes unless your really fit.
There are a few walks from the campsite and you can get a map at reception, we did a great walk to the lake in the valley and had a picnic, the veiws were stunning and the lake turquose blue but its a bit of a walk back up the hill
We would definatly use this campsite again
