Just spent 10 great days at Le Petit Nice, lovely campsite with direct access to beach adjacent to dune. Our two boys loved to roll down the dunes to the beach. Fabulous view, but a bit of a trek back if you need to go to the toilet! However, we found some lovely beaches which were nearby and did not require huge climb at the end of the day.
Site itself was clean, hot showers and never had to queue. Pitches set in amongst pine trees and very sandy, perhaps could do with investing in suitable tent pegs if visited again. Pitches were not huge and we did have to squeeze our people carrier in to the pitch as well. Caravans did appear to have larger pitches. The tracks around the pitches were bumpy and had quite a few pot holes.
Swimming pool was very clean and consisted of a main pool, a shallow baby pool and a sort of spa pool. The main pool had a small slide which was fun. The bar and restaurant were clean and tidy, although pricey (apart from wine) so we tended to eat and drink either around our tent or in some of the lovely local towns. There were a few pinball machines and games and because the play park was situated by the bar you could sit outside and watch your children play table tennis while you had a relaxing drink.
The facilities at the site were good and they did put on some low key entertainment in the evening and a bit of French aquafit in the pool!
The French line dancing was rather surreal!
We had a lovely holiday and friends that were staying at a nearby site agreed that Le Petit nice was one of the better sites near the Dune.

We stayed in this campsite for 10 days in early September. Sloping site within a pine forestwith excellent shade from the sun. There was direct access onto the beach however you needed to be reasonably fit due to the climb back.
Three toilet blocks throughout the site maintained to a high standard. Bar and restaurant situated above the pool area. Limited menu providing pizza, pasta and some meat dishes. Beer expensive however they did have a happy hour.
Fantastic site to get to local beaches. My favourite one was Laguna Beach which neverbecame that busy. Biscarosse also had a long beach however this was more touristy. Great wavesfrom the Atlantic ocean.Site shop stocked papers, bread and a small range of groceries. They do an ice block service and you can also rent afridge. Restaurant across the roadserved similiar menu howevergood atmosphere and excellent cheap house wine.
I would definitely recommend this site if you were interested in camping in the area. Helpful owners.
