 We have visited this site twice having tried others in the area before as my parents live in Barcares.
This is set back from the others so quiet at night, they have entertainment til 12 and that's it! Perfect for families, on our first visit we were surprised at how undersold it is on the websites.
Amazing cowboy village for the kids to play in, great pool area which is compact so easy to keep an eye on them yet still has a pirate ship in pool, slide, shallow swim area and deeper swim area.
Each pitch has private sanitaire which are spotless. When we arrived there was a problem with our flush and they fixed within 20 minutes!
The people are mainly French or Dutch holidaymakers in this area, and as this is a family campsite we found people very friendly.
There is entertainment in Barcares square most nights, they put on amazing firework displays on special dates like 14 July, the locals speak mainly Catalan but your pigeon French is appreciated and they will make the effort back.
All in all if you are looking for a 'Britain abroad' experience I'd go somewhere else, if you want to experience rural France with some tourism comforts,
I cant recommend this place enough. If you have young families I would def choose Las Bousigues!
