We have just returned from a long weekend at this superb little site, where the owners and staff were all very friendly.
We are both keen golfers and it was great to simply walk a few yards to the first tee! The 9 hole course, although short, is surprisingly tricky and always enjoyable. (and only £9 for 18)
The site is sandwiched between the 9th fairway (with a row of mature trees to keep even the most wayward of shots away from caravans)and the road with minimal traffic (mainly tractors and lorries to the potato farm opposite) which was never a problem to us.
The facilities were all clean. The toilets were shared with the golf course and always open. The 2 showers were in a separate large room. In reference to a previous review, yes they did have clear glass doors, we simply both went for a shower at the same time and locked the door.
The is a small shop about a mile away and Hereford with it's supermarkets is about 7 miles away.
We paid a very reasonable £12.50 per night including electric hookup.
We will definitely be returning soon.

The first thing which struck me as odd was when I went on the website, where there was no mention of touring pitches at all.
The site is a small golf course, with some self catering accommodation. The level field where the pitches are situated was pleasant enough, but it was fairly near a teeing off point, which worried my wife a lot. In fairness, you'd have to be a really bad shot for the caravans to be at risk, but it's worth knowing in advance! One of the other people we spoke to who was staying at the site said that she nearly got hit by a golf ball on her way to the toilets!
The pitches are right next to the road, which although not busy, did have some large vehicles (lorries and tractors with trailers) passing from time to time, which could be a little intrusive.
The other peculiar thing was the shower arrangement. On arrival, you get given a key to the shower block, so it is not available to the general public (visiting golfers, for instance). However, it is open to both genders; there is no separate male and female section. Moreover, the two showers both had clear glass doors. There is a sink and a sauna room in the same area. In order to have complete privacy, one could bolt the door from the inside, but this would then render the facilities unusable for anyone else.
The toilets were in another (public) area attached to the golf shop and bar and weren't really suitable as alternative washing facilities.
The golf course itself made the setting quite picturesque and my wife and I enjoyed a walk around its perimeter. I suppose at only £12.50 a night including 16 amp hook up it wasn't bad value, but the negatives over the positioning of the pitches and the washing arrangements put us off and we only stayed the one night, instead of the planned 6. There was no problem over this, which was good.
If you were a golfer and were happy to use your own facilities, you would probably get quite a lot out of this site. It wasn't for us, though.

The site has 10 hook up all grass pitches, however only one mens and one ladies loo that has to be shared with all the golfers. There are two shower cubicals which the site owner gives you a key to this room, there were no hand basins, no slip mats, but lots of cobbwebs and the room was very cold and dark and the shower units have seen better days.
There is a lots of road noise as pitches are only a couple of feet away from a heavy used road.
No safe way to walk to local village, 2 miles away as unlit road with no pavements.
If you can put up with all this though, it's a lovely part of the world to visit and only £12.50 per night all in.
