 All of the roomy pitches in this pleasant Municipal site are separated by hedges, but a long hook-up cable may be useful in places.Toilet blocks are cleaned daily and hot water is available all day.
We visited in the peak French holiday weeks, and the site never felt crowded.
The Children's playground is small, and so is the plunge pool.
The site is situated near the village of Le Mazeau in one of the most attractive parts of the Marais Poitevin, where there is a Bakery, Bar and General Store. Supermarkets are in Benet and Magne (both about 6 miles); nearby Coulon (5m) is attractive and offers boat trips in the Venise Verte (Green Venice) and a wide choice of restaurants.
There are excellent opportunities for cycling on shady and little-used lanes in the Marais, with several villages an easy ride from the site. Fishing in the canals and Walking are also popular
