Visited at the end of peak season, and had the choice of pitches. Pitches near the campsite entrance allowed for cars to be parked on pitch (which we chose), but further into the campsite, cars weren't allowed, as it allowed for children to play safely. There was a small playground with the usual play ground apparatus. Further into the site, there was a large football field (although mostly empty as it was so hot). A short walk out of the campsite was a free municipal outdoor pool, which was fantastic, separated into less able/younger swimmers, up to about 1.6m, and one over 3m deep, with a diving board. This was on the site of a larger public play area with trampoline, slides, swings, miniature golf, and facilities for kayaking, canoeing, pedal along the river. A cafe for refreshments was also on site.
The village centre was only 2 minutes walk away, and we made daily trips to the choice of 2 boulangeries for our daily breakfast breads. All quite reasonably prices and good quality. There were also 2 butchers and 2 small corner shops for emergencies. Not much in the form of restaurants, so be prepared to cook. The nearest supermarket is about 20min drive away in La flèche (carrefour market, Le Clerc).
Our pitch was shady, and large. Electricity water points closely. Unfortunately we had a grumpy lady across from us, who didn't understand that this was a family campsite and children do make noise when they play, but this isn't the fault of the management, who were always very helpful.
Games room is adequate with board games, dart board. Sanitary block is cleaned every morning at around 7am, and in the afternoon. Plenty of showers, washing up facilities and toilets available. Washing machine and dryer available, freezing facilities offered.
There were lots of hardcore military grade mosquitoes however, and we got stung lots, despite putting up mosquito coils, and applying lots of repellent.

We stopped here by chance on our way back from the Loire. We were looking for a site close to a river. Bingo! We were able to pitch right next to the towpath, so launching the kayak was easy. The site is lovely, with plenty of shade and privacy. The toilet block was clean, with five different toilets!
The site is next to a municipal pool (free access for campers), which had a cafe and kayak and pedalo hire. The village is lovely, but quiet. You probably wouldn't want to rely on going out to eat!
It was an easy drive from here to Roscoff for the ferry home.

Lovely campsite! A fairly small site, with good sized flat pitches, most with electrical hook ups. Lots of trees and small shrubs giving a sense of privacy. Good clean well maintained facilities - lots of hot showers, toilets (French and UK style!) and even a small bath for small children who don't like showers. Large field complete with full size football pitch for children to play, away from the pitches, as well as play equipment. The people running the site were all really helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. There were organised activities in the morning for children, and evening for adults - but there was no pressure to join in.
While the campsite does not have a shop, the village has 2 boulangeries, 2 charcouteries and 2 small shops, all about 2 mins walk from the campsite - plenty of choice. The village also has a restaurant (that we didn't try) and a bar that does homemade pizza's (that were very good). We took a couple of small disposable bbq's with us, and the meat from the village was fantastic.
Next door to the campsite is an outdoor swimming pool that as a camper you have free access too, and has a life guard (all males of all ages - be warned, they will not let you in wearing swimming shorts, swimming trunks only to be worn). Also there is crazy golf, another children's play area, a small bar, and you can hire Canoes, Kayaks, and peddle boats. Bicycles were also available locally, and there were cycle routes off the roads.
Also there is a footpath along the river - lovely for a stroll in the evenings, and well used by fishermen.
The only down side is that there is not much to visit nearby. Vaas has a great chateaux and some nice restaurants, but we found La Fleche disappointing. However, Tours, Saumur and Angers are all about 60mins drive away for a day out, and the local pool, canoes etc kept us entertained for a week.
We certainly aim to go back!
