We stayed here Aug 21st to 28th. We had booked through tesco rewards and were given a small 2 bedroom static (esprit plus) that on arrival looked brand new. It was immaculate inside and out.
Although plenty of storage the double bedroom was quite cramped unlike the kids room which was very spacious and would easily sleep 3 singles. The entrance to the caravan was via double glazed doors that led into the kitchen / living area which is also where the second double bed (spare) folded out from the table. We felt that the entrance should have had curtains if you were to use this space to sleep.
The kitchen had a good sized fridge with freezer compartment, a microvave combi grill (quite small) and 2 gas burners. There was NO main oven!
The bathroom although compact had a good sized electric shower/ wash basin/ toilet. The window was double glazed and opaque but at night was not so private (again a blind or curtain would have helped)
The site was immaculate, the caravans laid out nicely with ample space between. We rarely heard our neighbours. We had our own adjacent parking space and there were 2 sun loungers and a table and 6 chairs with parasol although as it rained all week we rarely used them! The staff are friendly and speak a mix of english and french. The bar is in a converted barn and is nicely laid out if a little dark inside. The bar itself is quite expensive 4 euros for not quite a pint of stella and 6 and a half for a double house vodka and coke. The food served was below standard and 7.50 euros for a hot dog and very small chips was in our minds over the top.
The site shop is very basic and seemed to stock the bare essentials bought in from the local carrefour and sold on at a large profit. There is a super you market in the local town of Monay de Littry (about 10km away) which has some good bargains.
The nearest hole in the wall is inside the credit agrigole bank in Cerisy-la-Foret (about 5km away) where there is also a patiserrie and small shop. If you are a smoker the only place to get your poison is in bars that have a tabac sign!
There is some kind of entertainment every night which involved English v French but we found ourselves in bed early most nights with planned outings the next day.
The pool was well equipped and the kids seemed to like it. They have recently spent £1million euros covering it and adding water slides etc according to Matt the pool manager.
If you are a keen fisherman, there are 2 lakes within the grounds. They seem to be well stocked and fish can be caught with just bread or sweetcorn. The boys enjoyed it so we got plenty of quiet time :o)
All in all there is plenty to see and do within an hours drive and Domaine de litteau is a good base for this purpose. We thought that you need more than a week to see and do everything so we shall be back, though next time probably without the kids as they didn't want to leave the pool or the lake!

We have recently returned from a fantastic week at Domaine de Litteau. We booked via Tesco vouchers, which made it such a bargain that it was impractical to tow our tourer all the way to Normandy, even so our expectations weren't high. How wrong we were!
First impressions were not good, on arrival, after a long journey we were greeted with something that resembled a building site! However reassured by the very friendly staff that the work was due to end that day we followed the map to find our unit.
The static itself was not new but was so spotlessly clean and well laid out that we had no complaints. An added bonus was that everything from saucepans to quilts were brand new.Very reassuring when your used to your own things in your own tourer!
The site itself was about a third full, so seemed very quiet and relaxed, even when full I couldn't imagine it would be heaving as there were only about 200 statics plus a few touring pitches. Be warned though there are obviously plans for large expansion!
The swimming pool was still under construction (we were forewarned) so cant comment but looked like it was going to be good being covered and having slides.
There was a small bar/take away with small arcade/pool table and outside seating overlooking the small lake. We didn't use either but saw posters for a themed curry night that looked good value.
There was also a entertainment programme.French lessons, boules and pool comps etc but we were too busy sightseeing and relaxing.
The location itself probably isnt the best as its a good half hour to Bayeux or the beaches and museums but it was in a quiet rural location next to a forest. We would certainly return, as this site can only get better.

OK firstly we own our static - OK with CreditAgricole but they never ask to use it :-).
We first went to this site on a Siblu 3 day freebie in 07. We liked it so much we went back four weeks later and bought a caravan there, and have been back two or three times each year.
Why: It was and is peaceful, all of the units are newish, the bar is small and welcoming with a nice terrace near the pool.
The park has access to the forests, which are nice for peaceful walks and the local area abounds with very French style people and villages. Of course the d-day beaches are only 30 minutes away and they never seem to be crowded - St Laurent (Omaha) has good parking.
On site there is a small shop - good for 'I forgots' lousy for a sersious shop for that you need to go either to St Lo or Bayeaux both just 15 minutes away. There is an Alldays / Co-op type shop in a nearby village which is pretty good but you've got to know where it is.
There are good washing / laundy / showers in the block but the site is geared heavilly towards the statics. There is also a place to fill and dump motor homes.
The pool was quite small, but for 2010 they hope to open a much larger one.
The bar is small, and often unstaffed. They have got a spirits licence (at last) but the beer is cheap and cold. Attached is a games room with table footbal, pool and pinabll type machines.
The staff are a mix of English and French and are always willing to help, and have a fount of local knowledge.
Along with the normal kids clubs there are two play areas - again smaller than you'd expect but there are also large fields within the park for football / running around. We are quite happy to let our boyz run wild (only rules no sweets and no accepting invites into other peoples tents/caravans) with just a check back time.

This was a very pleasant, small(ish) site that is mainly laid out with statics. We visited in a caravan as a stopover on the way south so only stayed for one afternoon/evening and morning. Having said that the facilities were excellent and clean, there was a nice pool and a large field for the kids to play in. The small bar and restaurant were very nice and we enjoyed a drink and a good meal. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, bread/croissants can be ordered at reception.

We stayed at this site for 2 weeks using our tesco vouchers. The site is mainly Statics but it is small and we found it extremely friendly. All the staff were great. The pool is clean and has a cover which can be removed in good weather. Toilets and washing area were clean. The bar area and terrace are small which made it very sociable in the evening. The reception area sells some essential but the nearest supermarket is 14km so you need to stock up. There are a few villages within 5km with some smaller shops. The nearest beaches are about 30 minutes away. We had a great holiday here as it was our first time to France. The area is filled with Museums relating to the war so there is plenty to see and do. Our weather in July wasn't great so we will try further south next time. We will probably only return to this site for a stopover as its great for the Ports.
