What a site absolutely superb in every way. Arrived to be greeted by beautiful birdsong and heard the sound of a cuckoo for most of our time here.
We were given a pitch all on its own but what a pitch, it seemed to be part of an old farm track with EHU, its own picnic bench and a sizeable grassy area.
The toilet/shower block is certainly adequate and clean. There is a fresh water tap but the hose could do with changing to food grade. There is a chemical disposal pitch.
I came to fly fish. There are two pools stocked with rainbow, blue and tiger trout. At the time I was there it was catch and release only. The only thing that spoilt my fishing experience is that the banks are very over grown and it is difficult to get near the water to unhook a trout. In the interest of looking after the fish clear areas of the bank would be an asset.
Also being a disabled angler it would help if there were a couple of platforms to fish from, maybe one on each lake.
The wildlife was amazing.
Our time here was only slightly spoilt by some coarse anglers who insisted on listening to loud music while fishing - why?
Keith was very helpful.
We will certainly return.

A lovely quite, peaceful site which has lovely views over the fishing lakes.
There are toilets, showers, electric hook up, a washing up sink and an area for toilet emptying. The facilities are basic but clean with plentiful hot water and the hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful.
It is fairly remote which means that there is no light pollution either so lovely stars on a clear night.

Had an absolutely fantastic week, can't fault this site or the owners in anyway and would recommend camping here to families and fishermen, will definitely be going back. Beautiful part of the UK and lots to do nearby for all walks of life.

We stayed here over a lovely sunny weekend. I was booked to run the Race for Life in Aberystwyth on the Sunday and my husband enjoys fishing. This seemed like a good localish place to stay to suit both. And what a delightful site it is. Access is down a small country lane and turning the caravan tested my reversing skills, but the owner was there to help and we were soon snuggled in to a lovely flat space overlooking the top fishing lake. The views from the pitch are stunning. There is a peaceful quietness with the singing of birds everywhere.
To the nitty gritty. The owners were very kind and helpful without being intrusive. The eggs were delicious. The toilet cum shower was kept very clean. I didn't use the shower so can't comment on it's efficacy. The site itself is very lovely with walks around the lakes and plenty of other walking in beautiful countryside.
My other half enjoyed the fishing and caught a number of fine large carp. The lakes are lovely just to walk around. There are electric hook ups although we didn't need one. Take what you need with you if you don't want to drive once you arrive as I'm not sure where the nearest shop is!
There are no specific play areas for children but as long as you kept an eye to make sure they didn't fall in the water, I'm sure they would have a great time.
This is peaceful camping at its best. We will be back.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night. The owner is very friendly and aims to please. The shower and toilet are in very good condition and clean. The fishing lakes are well kept and well stocked. If you are coming here to fish make sure you have the right tackle ( 15lb plus line is required, as the carp are very big). The only negative I can think of is, no mobile signal at all - no incoming or outgoing calls can be made.

This site was made for family's. This star site has many spaces for tents and caravans.
It has a farm attached to it with goats, chickens, pigs, sheep, horses, dog's, pony's, cows and many more. It has lots of activites to do in and around the site, this includes pony rides, barrel rides, feeding the animals and a couple of nature trails(one suitable for bikes. )
In the centre of the site there is a kids outdoor play area with swings, climbing frame, slide and a wendy house. There is also a shop that sells all the items you will need (convenience goods) plus treats and food for the animals.
The toilets were at a good standard. There is a lot of space for your own games like football, rugby, tennis, cricket, rounders ect.
I would rate this site a 9/10. If the site wanted to be better, it should add a pool. I went with my mum, dad, sister and foster brother.

We've just had 2 nights camping at Fron Farm (2 adults and a child). Camped by a lake, very quiet and peaceful. Very basic facilities, one toilet on the site and a sink with cold water.
The owners were friendly and left us to it. 1 mile to nearest pub and shop with very friendly staff. Half hour drive to Aberystwyth. Very cheap at £5 a night and well worth it if you are self sufficient and can go without a shower and hot water.

If you just want a quiet green space to stay this should suit you. We stayed in a discrete spot on its own near to one of the fishing lakes, which was nice; the owners said we were free to walk around the site including having a look at their chickens and geese, which were near to their house The plus points are the people running the site as they are friendly.
The negatives are the shower and toilet facilities, as they are rough but the owners are constructing replacements at present. This was not a concern with us as we are virtually self-sufficient in a motorhome. We will go back to this site again.
