We paid for a season pitch only to find we were cramped in a corner with loose rubble to fix our awning to.
The area was nice, but alas, it felt neglected.
The toilet block had only 1 toilet for men and 1 for women and they were unusable due to hygiene.
It could be a great site, well located, but would need a lot of work.
The pile of rusty 4x4's as mentioned by someone else are still there.
Facilities: Water/electric/grid you lift with a chain to empty your toilet and toilet as described above.
Would we go back = never

This is a cheap site to say the least. There are caravans and vehicles being stored and there are some mounds of hardcore nearby, that said it is a working small holding and provided us with electric hook up and water with disposal point.
There are in fact four pools and that why I visited, no main roads no noise just wildlife and well stocked fishing pools
If you want to pay 40 quid for a super pitch that's up to you.
I got more than I expected and fishing for caravanners at 5 quid per day. A 20 quid all in weekend away !

If you want a cheap campsite + hook up + fishing at 3 pools then this could be for you.
If you want an attractive site then this is definitely not the one for you! There were mounds of broken hardcore & tarmac to our left & many rusting hulks of 4 wheel drives in various stages of being dismantled to our left.
There were also dozens & dozens of caravans that were being stored, not bad maybe but for the fact a quarter of them looked liked the owners had died many years ago and left their caravans to go green with age, giving the aura of total neglect throughout the site.
No facilities other than a cold water point & elsan point.
Would we go back = definitely not.
