Good choice of pitches in February though most camped close to the toilets;both blocks were kept very clean. The approach roads are well-surfaced, but are narrow with steep edges. Just hope that you don't meet a lorry as we did.
Used ACSI card. No further reduction for an overnight visit to Gibraltar. Good value for what we wanted. Pool closed.
Cadiz, Jerez and white villages inland and on the coast all excellent days out. Site arranged day trip to Cadiz during carnival.
Excellent tour of Fundador/ Harvey's sherry/brandy maker in Jerez; less busy than Tio Pepe.
Receptionists spoke English and were helpful. Didn't use shop or restaurant. Wifi was the only let down. Almost impossible to connect, even near the office. If you change your original notified leaving date, remember to tell the office, or the gate access card won't work (as on many sites).
Narrow roads close to site may not be suitable for less confident cyclists or children.
There are a lot of nicely maintained bungalows so in high season it is probably a very busy site but doesn't look too commercialised.

Located in rural area with a farm next door. The donkey, cockrals etc are to be heard daily, but are not really an issue. At the time of our visit we used the ACSI card @ €15 / night - value for money. The pools have been drained, as one would expect at this time of year.
The shop on site is open until 15. 30hrs, thereafter, you can purchase items via the bar. The bar is open until 20. 30hrs in winter, a pint of beer is €2. 50.
There is a newly opened pitch extension which has a nearby new showers etc. We stayed on pitch nos 35, which is on the older part of the site, however, is more private, quieter and sunnier and closer to the restaurant complex.
The only real negative about the whole site is the quantity of flies on this complex; they are just infurating; constantly landing on your body and during the day, eating out of your motorhome/caravan is not an option unless you want to share your food with the flies.

Brand new to caravanning hence our first campsite review.
Very friendly English speaking receptionist. Large, well large to us first timers, site. 2 different size pitches. Some tight corners but no probs for our 2 berth Avondale. Clean, plentiful washrooms.
Plenty of hot water. No locks on WC cubicle doors. Not broken just no fittings at all. V. Strange. Our pitch had elec & water on it.
Farm next door but only heard a donkey and occasional cockerel! Had lovely beef stew in the restaurant. Basic shop on site. Close enough to visit Cadiz & Jerez. 2 pools, one looked a really good size. Only downside was the intermittent wifi.
If it's a major requirement for a good stay then I'd think twice. It wasn't worth moving pitches to secure a good signal as only there 2 nights. Set in a large forest / wood.

We arrived here after it had rained for 24hours so the ground was very wet and muddy there is no hard standing. We were there for 30 nights and if we had not been on a cc. Club rally we would have left after a few days.
Much of conil is closed for winter and really there is not a lot around to go and see. The bus into town is in the morning and returns at lunch time so not much time to do your shopping a taxis is 10 Euros back to the site we had bikes with us and it was not to bad going into town on them also there is a few nice bike rides in the area.
The site is clean and there is a newer toilet Block at the far end of the site, the restaurant was OK but we didn't think it was good food also we didn't think it was good value. To sum up if you are in this area try another camping site.

First of all the heading for the site 'Camping Bungalows Roche' is misleading. If you do a search as you might think there are only bungalows.
There are a lot of bungalows but there are an awful lot of pitches also. Suggest the heading is changed to the correct name 'Camping Roche'.
We stayed here in April and estimate that only about 30% of the pitches were occupied. The other vans were either German or Dutch with just 2 other English couples.
We liked the fact that the site was very quiet and we were able to relax. The nearby farm did not trouble us.
The pool was closed but the bar opened for a few hours a day.
The sanitary facilities are fairly new and very well maintained.
Lots of coastal walks nearby and interesting coastal villages. From here we also visited Cadiz and Jerez.
Happy to recommend.

As the previous review said, there are other sites in this area but they tend to be popular with rallies or predominantly frequented by UK campers. We chose this site as it seemed a bit quieter (no evening entertainment, in winter anyway) and with a mix of nationalities.
The pitches are not a bad size but some have low walls, and some have a lot of young trees, which can make pitching difficult, especially for a larger outfit. We also found the site roads had some tight corners. The ground is covered with thick, tough, springy grass, which is a nice change from the usual rather bare pitches.
The shower block we used was very smart and clean - loos have seats and there is a central toilet paper dispenser. One odd feature is that the doors to both the toilets and showers don't have any sort of catch or lock, so you just have to hope no-one barges in on you! The washing-up and laundry sinks are outdoors but under cover, and have plenty of hot water.
The receptionist is very friendly and speaks good English. A bread van comes round every morning. There is free wifi throughout.
My main criticism is that there is a farm adjoining the site. The noise of cockerels, dogs and donkeys didn't bother us, but the strong farmyard smell certainly did - it detracted from the pleasure of sitting outside in the sun, and especially eating outside.
But on the plus side, the price has gone down since last year - it's now 14 euros with ACSI card.

There are several sites in the area, many of which are open all year. We chose this one as slightly outside the town but not too far off the beaten track.
Receptionist extremely helpful and friendly. Gave information on where to pitch by area but to choose our own spot. One side shown as with dogs - one without, however people pitching with dogs on all parts. Some ehu are 3 pin and others 2 pin - best to check.
Pitches not too big - but to be fair as site fairly quiet most people seemed to stretch out over a couple of pitches.
Bar on site only open until 8pm - supermarket closed. We used supermarket in town, brilliant - lots of choice and good prices. Swimming pool looked nice but closed for winter. Toilets spotless and plenty of hot water.
Aesthetically site was very clean and tidy - but wall around gave it a feeling of being enclosed. Work being carried out renewing tennis courts etc but this did not cause any noise etc whilst we were there.
Beaches in Conil looks clean and water pure turquoise. However, sadly you cannot park a camper / Motorhome on the car parks as signs show you will be towed.
An ACSI listed site for which we paid €15 with the ACSI card - good value.
