Small, very quiet and well kept site with a small toilet and shower block, which was very clean. Large fishing lake.
Sutton-on -Sea is just a 5 min drive away with a few shops, great takeaway restaurants and a nice restaurant and bar overlooking the beach.
Overall it is a nice area, not too commercialised. Friendly helpful warden on site.

Lovely quiet site close to the seaside.
The on site play park and the use of the pool at a nearby sister park where a great hit for the children.
Great site if you also like to spend a few hours fishing.
Only dislike was the lack of facilities for the disabled. (toilets/showers)

We have just got back from this site after spending a week there. There is a small area for tourers and tents a nice little play area for children. The toilet block although it was cleaned every day felt and smelt dirty, there are only 2 toilets and 1 shower and 2 urinals in the men's. In the women's there was 2 sinks 2 toilets and 1 shower. Both were in desperate need of refurbishing. The website said there was a washing up area, but there wasn't. The fishing lake looks very nice but I didn't fish. At £26 a night I definitely won't be returning.
It is 1. 5 miles from Sutton on Sea which looked as though it needed refurbishing. Although once there you could cycle or walk about 2 miles to Mablethorpe along the promenade.

We stayed at the Springs Lakesside site for what was supposed to be a 1 night stay but we ended up booking on for a full week. The site was fab with a large fishing lake. Small kids play area and great toilet /shower facilities. We had a few problems when we first booked on but these were quickly sorted out after a phone call. The site is extremely well maintained and ideal for a quiet break,

Just returned from a 6 night stay on this park which we have enjoyed. The people who run the site are helpful and friendly. There is a basic play area suitable for toddlers, dogs are welcome ( mine is a litle yapper but no-one complained ) We used the fishing lake which is excellent and I taught my kids to fish which they didn't find boring as the fish are easy to catch, there is a swimming pool on the next site which you can use and it is heated.
Also the area itself is great for families with a blue flag beach in Mablethorpe and also outdoor paddling pools which are free to use in mablethorpe and Sutton on sea. Not many pubs in the area that I'd like to frequent but there are a couple of chinese takeaways around, and we had a meal in the sutton social club which was excelent quality and very reasonable at two mains for £10.
If I have a gripe it's the shower blocks. Luckily the site wasn't busy when we were there, but only 1 shower in each block wouldn't be enough if there were more staying, however it is the best shower I've had on any site as it is a bog standard power shower, you decide what temperature to have the water at and no pushing buttons every 30 seconds.
Decent site, if you like fishing you'll love it.

Lovely, well kept site.
Site manager very friendly & helpful.
Small play area for children.
Very large fishing lake which we were told was well stocked.
Only road outside site (no paths) so needed to take car as dangerous with little one, this is for about half mile.
Lovely beach, water park outside beach for little ones to paddle in.
Toilets clean, 3 toilets but only 1 shower! made it difficult when 3 females needing showers, the shower itself though was powerful with plenty hot water.
Would recommend this site

This is a very well appointed caravan park. The sites are well laid out and of good size. There is a lovely indoor pool and good playground area for children. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The toilet facilities are always clean and in good order. Our grandchildren love to visit this place and we have had quite a number of really excellent breaks here. I can recommend a stay in this park at any time of the year.

Booked this site on the spur of the moment and was very pleased with the price and location of the site.
Nev was very helpful with a very laid back attitude. The site was very well kept and peaceful.
The amenities were basic but clean, the price was very good too it was £15 for the tent for the night and there was 5 adults!
We will be definitely going again probably with the rest of the family.

Just returned from a fab bank holiday weekend with my brother and family. 4 children 10, 5, 4 and 2.
Went on a recommendation and so glad we did. Driving in to the sie you are greeted by a stunning fishing lake and water fountain. The staff were friendly when I booked in-you do need a £10 deposit for the toilet and shower block.
When we booked we were asked the ages of the children and they try and group you with similar families near the age appropriate play grounds of which there are 3. Although all are close to each other.
The swimming pool is extra and the kids loved it. I think you could stay in as long as you want.
The shop was the usual basic with sweets papers etc. There are shops and a Chinese within a 5 min drive
The club and bar were busy but entertainment was for all ages and the kids had a fab time.
The Sunday carvery was yummy and we all ate everything.
The shower blocks were only accessible with a key so children couldn't go alone - not a bad thing but the showers were quite hot and were push button and hard to work
There were geese and ducks on the lake to feed, but beware,i nearly got bit by a goose and we were frowned at by the fishermen when the children threw the bread in.
The pitches were the biggest we have ever seen.
This site is a fantastic friendly site and one of the best we have stayed on. Great for families of all ages.

We found this site through the tourist information office as this was an unplanned stay. For a last minute booking it was fine and reasonably priced at £12 per night for the tent with 2 adults. There was a small grassed area for camping with only our tent and one other on it so there was plenty of room. The site catered mainly for statics and was well maintained with a large lake. It was a great location for Sutton on Sea (a small quiet seaside village with all the amenities you need, although probably too far to walk there). Very secure with an automatic gate at the entrance. The only draw back was the showers - they were a little dated and in need of a revamp, plus there was only one shower and three toilets for the ladies (one shower, two toilets for men) so if the site had been busy it would have been a problem. Although they were cleaned they still felt grubby.
