 This is a large site on the banks of the river Loue with a good swimming pool and many opportunities to play in the river itself. The site has many permanent chalets or mobile units and has activities arranged both during the day and in the evenings for entertainment. The site itself is poorly organised - upon arrival instead of being given a pitch we were given a map of the campsite and left to find a pitch. But the map does not mark pitches that are permanently occupied, neither does it mark electric points (which we had paid for), so we spent a long time trawling the site for a suitable pitch. And when we did find one, there was no requirement to tell reception where we were, thereby compounding the problem for later arrivals. All this was a bit of a shame, as it was actually a lovely site with a wonderful location by the river, and it is very convenient for the autoroutes.

This site accepts VacanSoleil cheques in low season. We stayed for 2 nights on our way south. The site is easy enough to find from the main road through Parcey and access is good - has a barrier with a code which will be given by the helpful, at least bilingual reception staff.
The site is level(ish), slightly bumpy ground and the grass is very weed covered. The river had a lot of algae at the banks and the canoeing which is available in high season had finished. I wouldn't want a full holiday here, not a very interesting area but fine for a couple of nights, no problem with satellite tv.
It has a shop and bar but these were closed, bread ordering however was available. Facilities perfectly ok and also has outdoor table tennis.
The main road forms a right angle around the village and if coming from the north, you won't see the shops, restaurants, fuel etc as they are further on from the way to the site, all along the main road. There is a pizzeria here which seemed reasonable but was closed when we were there, typical of our luck.
The village between the main road and the site consists of a mixture of large old and new houses with a couple of farms - very picturesque and quite posh looking.
