We returned recently after not visiting for a few years, this is a gem of a site run by a friendly family which is located within 15 minutes of the beach and local shops, the village of Abersoch is a 25 minute walk away.
The site is generally well tended with water points and grey water drains close by, waste skips are also easy to walk to.
We had an issue with the toilet and shower block, both where very dirty with damaged fittings, I don’t think any cleaning took place during our whole stay which was awful. My wife visited at night and there where cockroaches running around the floor.
There is a charge of 20p for a shower but the floors where black with mould.
It was such a pity as I particularly remember our original trips and thinking that the showers and loos where very good.
If they sort out the toilet and shower block this site would be absolutely superb.

Good site stayed 3 nights, great views from higher field, great location for walking coast path. On bus route to Abersoch.
Signs said facilities were deep cleaned, but this was not done in the days we were there, however the facilities were quite clean.
No shops within easy walking distance.

A gem of a site just 2 miles out of Abersoch, on a quiet road heading towards the end of the peninsula.
It caters for tents and caravans, but we were the only tent (apart from one that seemed to be pitched for the season) in the lowest field. The grass is mowed regularly - we were even asked if we wanted our pitch mowing before we pitched. Each pitch is separated from its neighbour by a low fence and is extremely spacious - we had a LWB VW and a 6 berth tent and there was still loads of space.
There was a field behind us, and I think at least two more up behind the house. Whilst they all seemed pretty full, the site never felt cramped, crowded or even busy.
The facilities block is modern and clean (20p for 4 minutes in the showers), plus dish washing facilities, washer and drier, and freezers for campers to use.
No on site entertainment, which is just how we like it; a tiny playground with a couple of swings and a slide just next to the bottom field.
The beautiful beach of Porth Ceiriad is within walking distance if you're not carrying more than a back pack (NT car parking up a very narrow road); Hells Mouth or Porth Neigwl needs a car. Abersoch is only a couple of miles.
Beautiful area for walking. Beautiful for views. And all for £25 per night with EHU (regardless of family sie - a real bonus for people with more than the average 2. 4 children!)
Better food facilities are to be found in Pwllheli.
One for our list of 'must return one day'.

Fabulous camp site! Toilet blocks clean, 3 showers each and always hot water (about 40p for a shower). Big pitches, easily enough for our family tent, and very well kept (nettle and sheep free). Nice little playground for the kids and lots of space for games etc. A gorgeous sunset view 4 minutes walk up the hill, with great views over Abersoch bay. Very friendly and a good price (£24 with electrical hookup). Booked the day before the bank holiday. Lots of caravans, but on grass and not lots of hardstandings which we usually try to avoid. Cars Parkes next to text, but doesn't feel like a car park with tent as some due, mainly due to the space (in the bottom field). Really good facilities too, such as laundry, dryers and a microwave (live the re-heated food dream). 4 minutes out of Abersoch but much quieter. No hesitation to recommend for the family campers, even those more used to National Trust sites.

Initially booked for 3 nights as we didn't want to be around Abersoch for bank holiday, but ended up staying for 6 nights.
The sight has 2 fields well set up for tourers, many of which seem to be seasonal. 2 fields set up for campers, the more exposed field up at the top has incredible views.
Lots of kids around because of summer holidays but all well behaved & all quiet by 10.30.
The facilities are immaculate, 20p for showers but always clean & plenty of hot water. The site is well maintained by owners who never seem to rest.
Porth ceriad beach less than a mile away absolutely stunning, Abersoch 1.5 miles away (avoid during summer hols if possible) well situated for exploring the lyn peninsula.
A great place to stay & good value at £18 per night including hook up (2 adults & 2 Kids)

This was our first visit to Tan-y-Bryn, but it won't be the last!
The owner's couldn't do enough to make us welcome - even coming to rescue us when we got completely lost!
Lots of room on site, very clean and tidy.
There are lovely views over Colwyn Bay and surrounding areas.
5 minutes from Colwyn Bay, and 10 from Llandudno.
Highly recommended.

From the booking of our pitch (via email) and the quick response from the owner to confirm our booking, we were very impressed with this site.
This was our first time camping in Abersoch as a family and we will BE back! This site has facilities which are to a very high standard and exceptionally clean at all times! There are 2 fields available to campers (tents), and 2 for touring caravans. There is ample space to store your jetski or boat if you are lucky enough to have one! There are several beaches within a 5 min drive, most having pay and display carparks, but worth visiting.
This is a working farm and the owners work endlessly on the farm and the camp site.
We stayed for 3 nights and paid as we left (very trusting).
Abersoch is a good 1.5/2.0 miles away. Not a good walk with children, so probably best used as a base. At the back of the site there is a hill, which must be climbed - the view from here is breathtaking.
Great site - we'll be going again.
