 Superb place and good atmosphere.

Local People were very friendly as compared to UK or French:))

Wifi was good and toilet and shower facilities were clean.

Management was friendly and helpful.

The family who runns the campsite was very welcoming and helpful.

Site is very easy to access, we have 7. 5m motorhome, no issues.

Site approx. 60 touring pitches spread over a large field approx. 1. 5m outside town of Noordwijk. Site has approx. 75 seasonal pitches in separate field from touring pitches. Reception is manned during day and early evening, no shop on site but sell coffee/tea/beers/soft drinks. Owner speaks good English and is very helpful, deposit for key fob which operates gate and toilet block door and which also records any charges for shower & hot water is required, 30E on arrival, which will be deducted from final bill on departure. 19. 75 euro for 2 adults with motorhome/caravan per night. Credit cards are taken but have a service charge. No extra charge for awnings or pets. Pitches are chosen on a first come first served basis. Site info leaflet and site map is supplied.

All grass pitches, approx. 65 pitches with individual GB type electric hook-up points (6 amp, take care not to trip, owner required to reset). Communal water/grey waste drain at each end of field. Some pitches have screened hedging between them on one side only to split the field into 4 rows, pitches are close together and nose to tail parking as per European style rather than nose out as per UK pitch layouts. Communal BBQ chimenea in each part of the tourers field.

Toilet block is near site entrance which is modern, well maintained, and clean during our stay. There are individual male & female areas with individual toilet cubicles, (toilet paper /paper towels /hand dryer included) & separate individual shower cubicles. The showers operate via key fob and has premixed water and run for 4 min cycle which is charged each use to your account. There is some heating in the toilet block. There are 5 dish washing sinks, 2 veg prep sinks, baby change/wash area and disabled toilet/shower. There is a laundry room with a washing machine and 2 x tumble dryers, iron and ironing board, again these operate via the key fob and is charged to your final bill. Cost 4. 0 Euro for wash cycle and 1. 50 Euro for tumble dryer cycle. There is one motorhome service point with water & grey waste empty drain and CWP just past toilet block on entry road, on left hand side. There is another CWP at the toilet block. Site has WiFi, which is included in pitch price and has extensive coverage over site. 3G mobile coverage is good for all UK operators using Dutch partner networks. There is lockable phone charging points within toilet block. Children’s play area is to the front of toilet block within seasonal pitches field and table tennis/table football/basketball hoop/football field near motorhome service point. There is no dog walk area on site with very little elsewhere off site other than access road verges and odd small areas of grass.

We were here in early October & the site was empty, really a site more suited for couples rather than families due to its location but only 1. 5 miles to sea front and miles of sand dunes. Had about 7 other tourers on site, mix of Dutch and German. Seasonal pitches were mostly unoccupied.

Walk into Noordwijk is approx. 45mins from site and can be cycled to in much less on good cycle routes. Loads of different cycle routes around the site and the locality to miles of beaches and sand dunes. There is good shopping/ cafe's /restaurants in Noordwijkerhout approx. 1. 5 miles North of site with 2 supermarkets, parking for motorhomes on waste ground just opposite multi storey parking at the shopping centre. There are also plenty of Shops/Restaurant’s/Cafés in Noordwijk which is a seaside town with a promenade and lovely beaches. There is a casino/Chinese restaurant complex 15 mins walk from site on main road, a bit odd location, didn’t try it but would do for convenient eating out. Site is surrounded by farming which is mostly fields of tulips which we guess will be spectacular in spring/summer. Didn’t come across a Bus stop until we were in the towns. A nice rural type site, would visit again.

This site was in a nice location, approx 2 miles from the lovely sandy beach. It was excellent to cycle with lovely cycle paths by the road or among the sand dunes by the beach. Easy to cycle from site. Entrance a bit tight. Pitches close together. Separate field reserved for school groups etc. Nice new toilet, shower, laundry facilities. You pay for key fob which allows you hot water (not included in pitch fee) We used ACSI card for better value. Beware, a lot of places do not accept debit/credit card
