Good points:-
Flat, level, very generous sized pitches. 16amp electric hook up. Easy to access New Forest and coastal areas.
Bad points:-
Tight access from road. Nightmare to navigate off site as the lane very busy and the mirrors across from entrance were less than adequately useful. The bottom one viewing approaching traffic from right was filthy and encrusted with green algae. The top mirror viewing from left was loose and flapped around when traffic was passing. When informing site owners of this issue it was almost dismissed offhand.
Toilet and shower, both needed some TLC. Door on toilet very badly fitting, with large gaps to bottom and left hand side. Cobwebs abound within the facility. Wiring for the light fitting was poorly installed.
Shower curtain was well past sell by date and severely stained on the bottom. Shower itself was ineffective, the shower in our caravan was more powerful.
Campsite is close to railway line and noise from trains last well into the night.
Well aware that CL’s do not have to provide toilets, showers and ehu, but when they are provided they should be maintained to a reasonable standard.
Will not be returning to this site. Pity as it has vast potential.

A large, open site with good, clean facilities.
A good location for visiting areas of the New Forest as well as Lymington and Bournemouth.
Some noise from trains on nearby main railway line.

Lovely little site. We wanted peace and quiet and we certainly got it.
If you’re looking for entertainment, play parks or even state of the art facilities, this is not for you.
We wanted electric hook up, a shower and toilet facilities all of which are provided (only one shower and one loo).
Riding distance from Lymington, Hordle and Needles Eye cafe - all of which were fab.
Not quite as bike friendly as further into the forest but we made our own safer routes. My only slight grumble was that the loo paper ran out and there was nothing to dry hands on.
Also lots of cobwebs in the loo and shower.
Shirley was lovely and I met her gorgeous little doggies too :)

Perfect site. Shirley is lovely and accommodating and nothing is too much trouble.
Clean toilet and shower facilities. Grass is kept short. Lovely and peaceful.
Not too far to travel for the the New Forest, Lymington and Milford.
Not far to shops, takeaways etc if they are required. A lovely pub 5 minutes away.

This is a great site, small, but lovely big open space. The owners are fabulous,
They helped sort out a small technical electrical issue without and fuss and constantly checked if everything was OK.
Definitely going back, highly recommend

We needed to ‘try out’ our campervan and Shirley was very helpful as we weren’t sure if the field would be too wet as there is no hardstanding. It was too wet but Shirley let us stay on her drive.
The facilities were spotlessly clean.
We had the windiest/wettest night so far this year and we loved our surroundings.
Yes we will go back

Shirley is lovely and nothing too much trouble, site a mixture of seasonal and touring pitches with large area in the middle, plenty of room for running around and ball games.
Access is definitely sharp intake of breath if you have an 8’ wide unit - turning right into the site is a must regardless of size - if need be drive past the site to the end of the road to a small roundabout.
We had a lovely weekend in a lovely area, we would definitely come back.
(There is some train noise from the track next to site but it’s not intrusive)
