A lovely little site which is extremely well located and very well kept. The pitches are mainly for touring, nearly all have good shade and sun and are fairly level. There are about a dozen smaller and cheaper pitches for motorhomes (10 euros cheaper than the usual pitches).
We chose to stay on a bigger pitch as we were planning on staying for a few days. The toilets are mixed sex but shower and washrooms are separate male and female, toilet roll is provided outside the cubicles.
The wash block was kept in very good order. The site has a lovely vibe with mainly French visitors and a nice mix of couples and families but few teenagers and perhaps not much to keep them occupied.
Just outside the site there is some sort of lagoon area which was very handy for an early morning dog walk. We did not use the bar or take away service but this did look good. There was also a little van coming round on two or three evenings selling fresh salad and potatoes which we bought.
The site is on the Rose Granite coast, 5 mins walk to a beautiful beach which is very safe for bathing. It is also across the road from Ploumanach port which had a lovely Fete de la Mer while we were there. We walked into the town of Ploumanach which is a 10 to 15 minute walk and where there are quite a few restaurants.
Tregastel is another 15 minute walk away and has a very good market on Mondays as well as a number of restaurants. There are some good walks in the area.
It was our favourite site on a month long trip around Brittany and was the only site we came across which had the camping complet sign out at the end of a couple of days.
We will definitely return to this site.

We had looked this area up at home before our holiday and we weren’t disappointed. This is the Cote Granit Rose and there are short walks around the coast with some incredible rock formations, in fact the whole area is quite stunning – it all looks particularly good at low tide. All walkable from the camp site.
The campsite is laid out on grass with hedged pitches, it has a couple of toilet / shower blocks (one much newer) all kept clean. What we disliked about this site was the fact that the toilets were typically French, with no loo seats and a large roll of toilet paper outside the toilets, so you had to zing yourself off some before you went in! The showers are hot and there is plenty of pressure in the new shower block.
WIFI is free at this site – you just need to ask for login and password details. There is a bar but it wasn’t open when we stayed, other than in the morning to collect bread and croissants which you can order the day before.
What we particularly liked about this site is there is a camper van area for dumping waste and refilling – you drive over the drain etc. So many sites don’t have this much needed facility in Britain. The lady in reception speaks some English and she was really helpful pointing out the local areas of interest on a tourist information leaflet.
There is also a SuperU just up the road (walking distance if you prefer), this supermarket has a fantastic fish counter area, you can buy crabs and lobsters swimming around in tanks or if you prefer they are available cooked, not to mention the vast array of other fish available to buy all looking tempting and very fresh.
If you prefer to eat out there are a few eateries within walking distance of the site. It’s unlikely we’d be back in this area of France but if we ever do return we’d definitely camp here. We paid 54, 30 euros for 3 nights with EHU.

Excellent campsite. Good location within walking distance of the impressive scenery of the Cote de Granite Rose. All pitches flat with lots of hedging to provide privacy. Ample numbers of toilets, showers, sinks etc kept very clean. Good play areas for children. Helpful staff. Would definitely return here.
