An absolute gem of a campsite.

Our family of 4 including two teens of 15 and 18 stayed here for 11 nights.

The field where the pitches are is absolutely huge with masses of space between units and lots of room to play. All pitches are level and although it rained while we were there, there were no issues with flooding or puddles.

There's a small utilities room which is part of the farmhouse which contains 2 toilets and 2 showers (20p for 3 minutes).

There's also a fairly spacious washing up area with decent sized sink.

The showers and toilets adequate, they were warm (no wind blowing through like you get in many places) and there was plentiful warm water.

The location is so convenient for anyone exploring the area, with the A38 very close by giving easy access to this hotbed of attractions.

Follow the route advised on their website via Wrangaton Cross and Ridge Road and you'll be fine. The last mile or so is narrow, but it's fairly straight so you can see if anyone comes the other way.

We will definitely be back!
