Have just returned from a weeks holiday here, a lovely little site. Owners very accommodating but not obtrusive.
Facilities were very good, I. E. Waste disposal, water tap and recycle bins close but not to close. Site is level with the grass mown regularly. A good place for visiting the north Norfolk coast line, Peterborough etc. Will certainly visit again.

A truly fantastic 3 night stay was experienced at Croxford Barn campsite.
When we arrived we were met with a warm friendly welcome. Initially we thought we had to turn around and try and find the camping field, as we were confronted by an immaculately manicured field, but this WAS the place to pitch up.
The site is a credit to the owners as it is flat and offers views that are unobstructed that gives a feeling of openness and tranquillity.
If you are looking to unwind this quiet unassuming site is for you.
A truly relaxing time was experienced, the area hosts a great base for exploring East Anglia and surrounding counties.
We WILL be visiting this little gem again as not many campsites exceed my expectations like Croxford Barn.

We visited Croxford Barn in August 2009 and couldn't have had a better experience. Camping in a 3 man tent, the two of us plus our 3 children under 4yrs, this was a perfect site for us. A lovely flat, narrow field by the side of the owners' home, the field overlooks agricultural land and we were able to sit and watch the tractors at work, which our 3yr old found fascinating.
The owners could not have been more accommodating. Although they don't have toilets on site, they do have a temporary chemical toilet which we were able to use; apparently they normally host caravans and campers that have their own toilet facilities. (There is electric hook up if you need it, although we didn't.) The owner's wife came out each morning and gave me a bag of freshly picked cherry tomatoes from her greenhouse, which were delicious. How kind!
There were several pubs around and and about in neighbouring villages where you could get a drink or a meal.
In fact we liked it here so much that we ended up staying for 3 nights instead of 2. We can thoroughly recommend this site if you want a peaceful break where you can get away from it all, and don't need lots of facilities and entertainment.

One of the best sites we have been to for a while. The owners made us very welcome (without being too obtrusive) We found the site nice and quiet and was exceptionaly well kept and clean.
Although it was a little off the beaten track we found it very easily, with easy access to the major routes, A17 and A47, We will be sure to go again as it's nice to get away from the rigours of suburban life!

My wife an I have just spent a very pleasant week at Croxford Barn campsite,
A big thank you to Steve and Jenny Sanderson, we experienced rain, wind, and a little sun,
We enjoyed it all from the 'welcome' on arrival to the 'cheerio - see you soon' on leaving, from this lovely couple.
Nothing was any trouble if help was needed and the couple worked so hard at keeping the site in tip-top condition.
I can with hand on heart say that this site is one of the best that I have been to and I recommend it to ALL
