Great location and it could be a fantastic site.
Toilets are dirty and didn't see anyone clean them in 3 days, no toilet roll, soap or hand driers. Leaks on the sinks, holes in the roof, men's toilet lights not working and missing sinks. Showers great if you are the only one using them, otherwise no pressure and cold. Walk to the beach is 30 minutes downhill but great parking on the beach.
Lots of cars speeding around the site and lots of noise and arguments. Most of the pitches are seasonal use, most of the rest of the site not flat, make sure you have levelling things for caravans and campers on the electric pitches.
Definitely would not return unless they make some major upgrades to the toilets and shower areas.

Went to stay in relatives van static for couple days break. Loved it. Site is not full people shouting and being more concerned that everyone hears them.
Lots places to go from here. Please do not spoil it by turning it into some site that you can get anywhere. Enjoy it for what it is.
Brilliant with fantastic cove near by. Private.

Visited for a few days with the family.
Good points: near to Pendine. Relatively cheap. Free showers. Ground is soft and easy to get pegs in.
Not-so-good points: Site is a mess with rubbish everywhere and random stuff dumped around. No level pitches for tents. Had to literally search for the site owner to establish where to pitch etc. Facilities are beyond basic.
Only two of the toilets in the ladies were fully functional. No toilet paper provision. No soap or handwash or hand drying provision. Hit and miss hot water and poor water pressure means showering is interesting! No water taps in camp field. Facilities a long walk from camp field.
Nowhere for children to play. No enforced speed limit on site. Noise from on site residents and the nearby pub until well into the early hours of the morning.
We've stayed at cheaper and much better places so I think it is safe to say we won't be back!

Visited here without prior booking, was warmly accepted. Had not been here for thirty years and was glad to see that not much had changed. \Camp site has clean warm showers available and clean toilets.
Large site with a mix of tourers, statics and hobby caravans. Would desperately love to have a caravan on this site full time as is peaceful.
Found it quite hard to get a signal for my phone and the internet so great for escaping the everyday pressures. People on site were warm and welcoming.
Arrived with my dogs site was dog friendly and had the normal rules of dogs to be keopt on a lead and under control.
Site was clean. Lovely walk through woodland area to pebbled cove accessed from site.

I had visited this site for a number of years as it is an ideal base to pitch up a tent and explore the West Wales Coast. There are no facilities on this site which keeps the price down enabling you to spend your holiday money on nicer things like icecreams and boat trips. After a number of years a static caravan came up for sale and I bought it.
The site is basically farm land which has been put to alternative use. The ground rent is dirt cheap and the site itself backs onto a peaceful forest and lane which leads to a beach which is a hidden treasure and unspoilt.
Yes there are a few permanent residents on the site, who wouldn't want to live in such a beautiful corner of Wales??
I look forward to many years of affordable holidays in the West!

As you go in there appears to be 2 fields of permanently sited tourers
The site office is a wrecked boarded up shack.
Then there are several tiers of statics. They too all seem to be lived in by permanent residents.
The site is about a miles walk from any beach, a mile and a half from any shop.
This site was also home to lots of wasps, maybe due to the bins being emptied into the field surrounding two skips or possibly they just like the general atmosphere in the camp.

Hi I came across this site by accident while looking for somewhere to pitch my touring caravan for the season. Oh am I glad I did the people on site are very friendly and helpful
The showers look new and are always hot free and powerful
the site itself has all the basic needs that you would expect with a nice pub at the end of the site which is great as it is just out of hearing distance from the caravans and as I have 2 young children its ideal
It is about a mile from the famous pendine sands with more pubs and shops in the village
I liked the site so much I have now bought a static caravan on the site and intend on staying on site for a good few years to come
In my opinion this is a really good find for me

This site is in a nice location close to many towns but that is all it has going for it. All through the year the site is really muddy, cars get stuck great if you want to mud wrestle. Caravans are close together. Toilets were dirty. There is rubbish around everywhere. Mostly permanent pitches. Fire hoses did not work. Only 2 taps for the site and electric kept blowing. This site is cheap but you get what you pay for
