Renamed site formerly known as Elham Valley Camping & Caravan Park - with plans for change of use under new corporate ownership.
Mark provided a warm and friendly welcome - a great host. The site is a long strip with one side alongside the Canterbury road (therefore some traffic noise) and the other a sheep field sloping up to woodland.
Every pitch has electrical hookup and easy access to drinking water.
The amenity block has seen better days but is well stocked and maintained. Hot water is on tap for showers and washing up.
Being situated in an AONB, the surrounding downland scenery is beautiful, as are the nearby villages of Elham and Barham.

Goldpark Leisure is a new development under new ownership, on the location of the old site previously known as the Palm Tree Lodge Inn and Pub (which is no longer there).
Stayed here for 1 night to test our new trailer tent out. The site is an old pub and the pitches are actually in what was the pub garden. If you opt for electric hook up you are in the car and there is only one post. Only 1 toilet and 1 shower which weren't very clean. (so much so that we used our porta potty and went without a shower) Washing up area is outside and dirty and very old looking. Owners very friendly. On a fairly busy road so quite noisy and be careful if you take children as they could easily wander off and onto the road.
