Please note we have been advised that this site no longer offers camping, motorhome or caravanning pitches. It now only does camping for the Twinwoods weekend in August.
If you know that this situation has changed in the future, please could you let us know. Many thanks

Lovely location and very peaceful,
No traffic noise as it's down a long private lane,
Owner is thoughtful.
I would stay again, .

Stayed here for 3 nights in September, good location and well away from any roads or noise.
However, despite listing, this site does not have a toilet block or chemical disposal point, there are a couple of very full portaloos ! which double up as the chemical empty point.
The only water supply, behind the portaloo is of concern as it was the only point for drinking water and the cleaning of chemical toilets !
The portable shower did not drain and was unusable.
And although we were the only 3 tents on site you only had to swith a light on at night for the electric to trip out.
Also no shop on site.
Will not be returning which is a shame because of the pleasant location.

Just got back from staying at The Paddock for 3 nights. Although the location is lovely I will not be going back.
On booking I was told the shower block would be all up and running but on arriving we found the owner erecting a tent for a small shower. The tray was filled with water which didn't seems to drain away!
There was only 2 portaloo's both of which were not very clean. Bins overflowing. As for the electric hook up, it kept tripping out.
We went with family and had 3 pitches, total number of people 5 and it seemed ok in the day but as soon as you started putting lights on it kept tripping out.
To turn it back on you had to walk half way over the field to the main supply point. All in all the worst site we have stayed on.
