Street Farmhouse is in Godshill just east of Fordingbridge. It's a pretty basic site with about 12 large pitches, one shower and three toilets. Two of the toilets are of the chemical variety but the other one is OK and the shower is good and hot if a little cramped.
But it's the location that's a real winner. The area is beautiful with the excellent Fighting Cocks pub a short walk to the east. From there you can start your expedition in the New Forest which can be as testing and/or adventurous as you choose to make it.
There are also some excellent beaches within half an hour's drive. Head down through Ringwood to get to Southbourne (turn off before the tackiness of Bournemouth itself) for sand and sea. And Christchurch is well worth a visit too. The priory is a good place to kill an hour and the quay is very pleasant.
Back to the campsite itself, there's a bit of noise from the nearby Sandy Balls resort but not enough to put you off your stay. As mentioned earlier, the facilities are basic but that's reflected in the price. And Colin's a very amenable host. I would definitely return in the future and recommend this campsite to others.

Fantastic place to stay, beautiful setting.
The facilities were clean and tidy.
There is lots of space for the kids to play, and the open forest is just a few minutes walk away.
The pub again a short walk is reasonable and serves good food
Everything that you could possibly need is easily accessible.
Thank you again - hope to come back again.

A fabulous, peaceful and friendly family run site. Plenty of individual camping space. Beautiful location, perfect for the new forest. The facilities are simple but very clean and attended to daily.
Good pub within a 5 minute walk and 'Spar' shop also only 5 minutes away on foot.
Loads of great family forest walks close by and near to Sandy Balls campsite if you need all the noisy stuff!
Will definitely return next year! A*
