Basic site, as to be expected with a certificated site paying £5 /night for 2 adults. Site owner very friendly and welcoming.
My only gripe is that the toilets (1 male 1 female in tin shacks) were very dirty (looked like months of dirt) when we arrived and despite the owner saying when we arrived 'she would check the toilets in case they needed cleaning' this never happened.
The ladies toilet ran out of toilet roll and was not replaced. We were able to use our own toilet so were okay but not so nice for another camper without a toilet.
Cheap camping but would not use the site again.

A Camping & Caravanning Club Certified Site.
Attached to a small garden centre, this site typifies the variety which is certified site camping/caravanning. The site comprises of a level grass field approximately 40m x 90m. It is enclosed on all sides by tall trees so that you are effectively sheltered from the wind and the low level of traffic noise is further reduced.
Conveniently located, basic, but perfectly acceptable W.C facilities. Please remember that this is a Certified Site, so having this facility at all is actually a bonus.
The only thing that might upset the delicate balance of your caravanning experience is that the field behind the site area is occasionally used for motorcycle grass track racing. Don’t let this put you off, as now that you know it, all you have to do is call and find out if a meeting is scheduled at the time of your intended stay.
The site owner has an interest in aviation archaeology and has a small private museum which contains artefacts and records from some of the many WWII aircraft that crashed in the area.
The nearest provisions shops are in Coltishall, about 2½ miles away. Being a very pretty, unspoilt village, Coltishall itself is worth a visit. There are several eats & drinks pubs. We went to the Railway Tavern on Station Road which was excellent. (Reasonably priced food; real ales and music / bands most weekends) We also enjoyed Polatso’s (Next to Coltishall Pharmacy) for its wide range of take away foods.
Overall, a great place to stay if you are visiting Norwich. You feel like you are in a rural location, but in reality you are about 6 miles or 20 minutes from the very centre of Norwich.
