 This is an excellent site on the edge of Luz St Saveur, which is the 'gateway' town for exploring the fabulous Cirque de Gavarnie area of the Pyrenees. The site has excellent modern facilities which are continually cleaned and looked after by the exceptionally friendly manager / owner. Your French language ability is much appreciated, and rather necessary here.
Although the site does not have a pool, you can have free entrance to the municipal pool. There is a bit of road noise, even through the night, but the site is generally very quiet, being predominantly couples and young families. Entrance to the site with a large caravan was a bit tight - best to take a wide turn or enter via the exit (and exit via the entrance).
Serious road biking is a major sport here - a challenging route passes the site - and there are marked mountain bike trails of various grades around Luz. Definitely a site and area we will want to go back to!
