Will not be going back to this CL - way more than 5 units. No shower, toilets very basic and a £5. 50 per night charge for EHU, only 6 amp, which failed at least once a day and could only be reset by owner - so paid for electric and had to use gas to keep fridge running. Shame, as it could be a lovely site, well laid out and in a beautiful part of the country. Chipping Norton about 1. 5 miles, with a great range of shops, including a great old fashioned ironmongers, Harpers, and a super independent department store, Beales. Summer sale was on -cost me a fortune in bargains!

What a lovely site! All of the facilities, including the toilet block, were very nice and clean. The grass and trees were cut and very well kept, which made it very nice to sit outside to eat our meals and enjoy the sun. It's very private and quiet. Somewhere where you really can get away from it all.
The very friendly and helpful owners kindly recommended some great places nearby for us to eat and visit and we found plenty more to do for our next holiday. We will be staying here again and would recommend to anyone!

A quiet well laid out site with good facilities. Grass pitches separated by hedging. Convenient For Chipping Norton where there is a Sainsbury and good pubs.
The owners were very helpful and efficient.
Caravan storage facilities are available and another field for Rallies.
Only drawback was the shower was broken when we were there. Useful for those CC members who wish to attend Cornbury Festival or as a base to tour the Cotswolds or maybe visit Oxford.
Would definitely return.

Grass pitches with a 2nd grassed area adjacent complete with hook ups. After a full week of rain I contacted the owner 2 days prior to check if they would still be open because of the rain and grassed area, particularly as we had a car not a 4x4. I was informed there would be no problem.
On arrival ground was soaked and very soft, and I had problems with sinking wheels. Stuck in the mud, a bit of a disaster! Rained all that day and night too so we decided to cut short the stay after just a night, I don't think we'd have got out had we stayed longer!
Facilities adequate, quiet and pleasant enough site if you don't mind being out in the sticks. But, if the owner had been honest about the ground conditions when I contacted him we would not have experienced the problems nor indeed, have bothered travelling in the first place and wasted our time! A dry weather site only I suggest but no further bookings from us!

This is a pleasant lawned site with spacious pitches (EHU). Although the CL was full when we were there we were able to use a pitch on the adjacent 'events' field, sharing same facilities. Washing machine available. The site is secure and private with video monitoring, according to the various security notices. Access is fairly easy but is from a narrow and busy road. Chipping Norton is only about a mile away - easily bikeable. Good base for Cotswolds or visiting Blenheim or Oxford. We used this as a convenient night halt travelling north from Portsmouth ferry.
