A Superb site in a rural location.

We stayed here for our final night of a mammoth charity driving holiday & I wish I could've stayed longer.

The welcome was superb, the site idyllic & the food & drink first class!

Importantly, the site facilities are top notch, with good spacious shower cubicles and excellent water pressure to boot.

The loos were clean & smart, and well lit, and the paths from our pitch to the facilities well tended.

I have no qualms in recommending this site to anyone, and will return again soon.

Made a fleeting visit to this wonderful campsite, along with several friends. There was a large choice of pitches, from shady and secluded to on the main strip right near the facilities. The shower/toilet blocks we used were clean, the water was hot, and they had everything we needed.

We did not have time to use all the amenities but friends loved the pool, and we got to paddle and play in the small brook on site.

There is a bar on site and the food was 1st class, the best we had on the whole trip. We tried both an evening buffet and breakfast.

But what makes this site special are the friendly and helpful staff. We were welcomed with big smiles and nothing was too much trouble.

I would happily recommend this site to anyone I know and hope to get back there soon.

Dee and Sam - the trabant drivers.

Of the 7 campsites we stayed on this Summer, this was our favourite due to the beautiful view of the lake and the peace and quiet. Just a pity you couldn't swim in it but we did enjoy a dip in the lakeside pool. Watching the fishermen and their varied equipment was fun.
All the sanitaires were really clean. We were nearer to the smaller block at the end of the site and the showers were excellent, hot and roomy. Appreciated the freezer in the wash room to freeze our blocks.
Vezelay and Avallon are both worth a visit. The pizza van seemed popular and the children clearly enjoyed the bouncy castle in the evening. Our bouncy castle days being over we preferred a pleasant stroll round the lake.

We stayed at this site for 2 weeks as our annual summer holiday.

The pitches were large and grassy, with plenty of shade as it did get hot in August. Pitches nicely spaced, and although lots of people were staying, it didn't feel too busy. Most pitches seemed to have electric, although the electric box was slightly dodgy to connect to! The site has a small stream running through it which the kids loved playing in.

Toilet / Shower block was very clean with really hot water at all times of the day. The swimming pool was medium sized, with large toddler pool and very fast little slide the kids loved. Every couple of nights the owners put on a soiree, followed by musical evening (cue dodgy euro-pop from the 80s / 90s) but that was always switched off at 11pm on the dot. You could order bread & croissants to pick up from the office every morning.

The area itself is beautiful but not much to do. There is an Auberge opposite, supermarket in the village and play lake/park next door.

We really liked the site, and would return again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this site.

There were a variety of pitches to choose from in terms of size, shade and location. The sanitary facilities were clean and well looked after.

The French owners were really friendly - they were the nicest and most welcoming French owners we've come across.

Every afternoon there was an activity organised for youngsters - nothing sophisticated, but it got the kids all playing together. There wasn't an awful lot to do off-site, but we still managed to stay 10 days! The pool is good, with a small (but fast!) slide which occupied our small children endlessly.

We enjoyed eating on the restaurant terrace a couple of times; only a small menu, but the food was great and it was good value.

We would happily go back to this site - it's not sophisticated but it's small and friendly and for a family with young children, on a budget, it was spot on.
