Weather fantastic so no problems with damp conditions. Midges terrible every single day. Impossible to sit outside.
We used the slipway near the sea but not much better. Locals said they were the worst this year.
Facilities very good, cleaned regularly and shower excellent.
Fantastic little site for tenters who want to climb the mountains.

An amazing setting at the foot of the mountains surrounded by lovely scenery in all directions.
The Campsite was very boggy but it had been raining for what seemed like weeks, but we managed to get a decent pitch around the edge of the site.
The facilities are basic but we didn't want or need anything more.

Absolutely stunning location surrounded by mountains on the way into Torridon village, within sight of the sea. The campsite was actually closed because it was waterlogged (October) so if you are depending on it, phone ahead and check. We camped up nearby in the van and made donation (voluntary but please do the right thing! I'm sure you would!) to use the toilets, washing up facilities and shower. Small toilet block that was open despite the field being closed, with three toilets, one shower, two basins and one washing up sink in each, but this is small site. Very hot water and free shower - but don't forget to donate appropriately. Everything very clean, obviously well-looked after. Ideally located for walking and several options for kayaking/outdoor activities nearby. The Torridon Inn (that will always be the Beinn Damph bar to some) is walking distance, about a mile. Or Torridon General Stores, about half a mile down the road has shopping basics and a café.

This camping field and the nearby public toilet and shower block is all free of charge. The field looked quite boggy in the centre but was grassier round the perimeter. We spent one night here in rainy conditions and found the midges quite bad. The toilet block was kept supplied with liquid soap, paper towels and toilet paper and plenty of hot water. There is also a sink for dishwashing next to the wash hand basins. For a totally free facility I was very impressed.

Small field surrounded by trees, for tents only. The ground tends to be a bit boggy and in rainy weather it is almost impossible to find a spot dry enough to pitch a tent! When there's no wind, there are quite a lot of midges! Just outside the field is a toilet block with toilets, a small dish-washing area and a shower (free).Ideal for an extremely cheap stop-over!
