Nice site, enjoyed our stay.
Touring pitches can be a little tight to get into, be careful when manoeuvring.
Great if you have dogs, they are allowed pretty much everywhere, even in the clubhouse in the evenings.
Bar prices a bit high, but food was really good.
Will visit again.

Stayed here for a few nights testing our new campervan.
Lovely site with lots of options available on site.
The centre has a great bar and serves good food. Dog friendly and my dog was happy to be allowed indoors.
Staff at the centre were very helpful with all my queries.
If you are pitching up make sure you have levelling ramps.

Good not great. Not much going on.
Indian on-site was amazing but over priced. No grocery shop on site.
Spent most of our time away from the site.
Shower block nice and clean and a good size but there ms only 3 showers.

Easy access via coded security barrier, code and pitch number emailed to us in advance of visit. Clean facilities, only 3 showers for both sexes which possibly could be a problem when site is full.
We were there midweek so fairly quiet. Lovely views over channel and nice walks along coastal path. A mile from Rhoose railway station either along main road or across coastal path.
Fish and chips on site, very nice, also Indian restaurant. Use of leisure park facilities if you choose to use them.
All in all a pleasant stay.

Beautiful well equipped caravan. Very helpful caravan owner. Can't fault the caravan we rented.
The view is breathtaking. Rocky beach accessed via steps, brilliant for fossil hunting. Small sandy beach at low tide suitable for paddling and bodyboarding for kids. Lagoons at other end of beach accessed via steps, great for crabbing. Part of the Sales coastal path. Brilliant chip shop. Well stocked Tesco nearby so not a problem that the site doesn't have a shop.
Swimming pool with slide for kids, a bit pricey if you pay each day and there isn't an option of buying a weekly ticket.
3 faults, 1st, grumpy owners in other caravans who obviously don't like holiday makers or kids, complained about kids running around. Sorry but this is what kids do. 2nd, miserable receptionist who wasn't helpful and scowled everytime we asked her anything. 3rd, arcade machines which regularly don't work properly and staff who don't appear bothered by this. Ratings reflect the facilities of the caravan and site. Customer service reflects the site staff not the caravan owner. Value for money we felt it was a bit pricey especially with the extra cost for swimming. The site is child friendly lots for all ages, only rated below 10 because of attitude. Overall rating 6 due to staff and negative attitude which put a damper on whole holiday.

We loved this site as it was in a great location. The view was beautiful, overlooking the Welsh coast. Very close to Cardiff airport and a short drive away to the Welsh capital Cardiff and close to Barry.
I especially liked that you can pick which pitch you wanted to stay on.
The facilities were unisex and were always kept clean and organised.
We especially enjoyed the fish and chip shop on the site and also the Indian takeaway food which was available on the site.
I think this site would be most suited to families with children due to the child friendly facilities and entertainment available. However, this is a great site for adults too and there is plenty to do.
We will definitely be visiting this site again and would recommend.

Site is immaculate. The facilities are modern and clean. There is one block for all sexes with an open vestibule area which is a sensible arrangement. The pitches are large and all have water grey waste and 13am electricity. Access is excellent. The top pitches are next to a fenced off quiet road which serves the static site. The other side of that is a rail line but trains stop running after about 11pm. Views to the front over the estuary are amazing. There are facilities for all ages. The fish and chip shop has been going forever and has an excellent reputation. The Indian restaurant is amazing. One mile away across a field walk is the main line which will take you to Cardiff, Penarth, Llantwitt Major and Barry. WIFI was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay here as the weather was great and I enjoyed exploring the rocky beach. Unfortunately there are many steps to the beach so not for anyone with mobility problems. The toilet and shower block are new and kept in good order. The showers needed somewhere to put your clothes on, and the water was quite hot. The washing up sinks are outside so would not be good in bad weather. No entertainment in the week even though it was a peak week. Did not use the swimming pool - this is open to all comers. The Indian restaurant on site was excellent. There is a pub just outside the entrance. The pitches are very close together, I would have preferred some more privacy. This is a very new site, so maybe they will address these issues as they ask for feedback.
