 This was our second choice and initially looked promising, the staff were lovely BUT.
Oh dear we were shown to a patch of grass surrounded by permanent caravans with awnings. Awnings occupied by the cast of Germany answer to Phoenix Nights.
Each pitch seemed to be competing for how many pot plants and hideous dangling ornaments and fairy lights they could have. It was tasteless tat everywhere you looked.
We pitched the tent, then got asked to move the car to the car park. So why didn't they tell us this before we pitched???!
We were kept awake by LOUD noisy campers who preferred to shout to each other rather than converse one to one in close proximity.
These people were SO rude with no regards for anyone round them. AWFUL.
Facilities - Dated circa 1970.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE

Large site that mainly caters for seasonal tourers, but we had no problem getting a pitch. Agno is located about 3 miles from Lugano city and the site is right on the lakeside and has a nice beach area.
Facilities on site were fine, the staff were excellent and they had a bar and pizzeria too. Prices were reasonable at about £25 per night with EHU.
Within walking distance is a Co-op and small retail park, but Lugano is well worth a visit for its busy city centre, shops, bars, restaurants and boat hire.
